Pro-abortion doula says she “loves and respects” all birth choices
I identify as VERY pro-choice in my political views, however once I became pregnant, I realized that I also found the idea that pregnant people deserved the right to their own bodily autonomy during childbirth to be integral…
I identify as queer when it comes to my personal life, which allows me to gain a wider understanding of the specific needs that people have in the birth community. I have done plenty of research and reading to educate myself on the notion of white privilege and being a “placeholder” for those from marginalized groups…
My favorite thing about being a doula, which took me a long time to figure out, is knowing just how NOT about me childbirth is. I realized that birth is an intimate and very personal situation for all families and I learned just how important it is to meet people where they’re at and not where I would “want” them to be.
My choices may not be yours and I completely love and respect that.

If/when I conceive, I will love and respect my child way too much to let anyone who is blind to the humanity of the preborn get anywhere NEAR us in childbirth.

Nonsensical and unhinged. No other way to put it.

Well, that was strange.

“Full-spectrum” doula means she attends abortions, right? So this woman gets paid to hold a woman’s hand while her child is being killed?
Lovely.

Quite the use of ambiguous language to sound academic and educated (wide understanding of specific needs? placeholder white privilege?) My 11-year old daughter writes more concretely and clearly.

Any person of common sense should admire the tremendous effort she must have taken in order to think that way! Wow…
The simple way is to realize that good people do not encourage others or support them in making bad choices.

When I read this all I think is that she’s a very violent person. She would be perfectly fine with brutally killing a child just because that’s what the parents chose – and she probably doesn’t even understand that she is advocating for violence.
She probably thinks she is non-violent.

After reading that, a few of my brain cells flew out of my head.

“I identify as…” as if that makes it so. I identify as a rich rich person yet my bank account remains empty. Funny how that works.
People who think like her are nuts and need to come back down to reality.

She’s lost.

Sydney, lol. I identify as a Princess. You have no idea how many years of therapy it took to disabuse me of that fantasy.
