Pro-lifers today are rightfully up in arms about Obama’s persistence in peddling the myth that abortion isn’t in healthcare.
But pro-lifers should also pause to give themselves a little well-deserved credit that Obama mentioned abortion last night at all. I didn’t expect it. The fact that Obama had to discuss the distasteful topic of abortion in healthcare as part of a speech before a joint session of Congress on prime time national television means we have forced abortion into “the center of the mainstream debate,” contrary to Smith’s opinion.

What I found so maddening is the fact that he is a self-proclaimed “Pro-Life” senator. How is it possible that a man can vote down anything that is on the Pro-life agenda and yet be so diluted as to call himself Pro-Life?
He is a Democrat. Ignore what he says and measure him by how he votes.
