Stanek weekend question: Liberal feminists are sluts and a____?

On September 6 Yahoo News reported on, “‘Sluts vote’: the unlikeliest DNC flair”:

A member of the Illinois delegation has sold out of a batch of pins she made that say “Sluts vote.”

The pins, which cost 2 for $5, reference radio host Rush Limbaugh’s attack on women’s activist Sandra Fluke (he called her a “slut” for advocating that insurance plans fully cover contraceptives). We spotted several delegates on Thursday sporting the pins….

I think ‘slut’ is offensive, that’s why we’re trying to own it and make it ours,” said Debra Shore, an Illinois delegate from Chicago.

Makes total sense. Ok, done. Democrat feminists can own the term “sluts.”

S.E. Cupp: Modern feminism “obsessed with sex”

The modern liberal feminist psyche has become so obsessed with sex, how the act itself and the consequences of it will be funded and celebrated, that contraception and abortion are seemingly feminism’s only urgent interests anymore.

Like a Freudian fixation, sex is all they see. It is in everything.

Outside of sex… the other political projects feminists concern themselves with these days seem either ill-conceived, redundant or grasping at relevance in a world that, let’s face it, is much closer to egalitarian than many young women care to admit….

ABC poll: Obama popularity “dips underwater… decline entirely among women”

I’ve reported several times in recent months that Barack Obama’s favorability among female voters has only slipped since he, Democrats, and liberal feminists launched their “Republican war on women” campaign earlier this year, despite rosy reports you may read to the contrary. From ABC News, September 4:

Politico: Democrats forced to switch strategies because abortion now a losing issue

If Democrats and liberal feminists lose the presidential election this fall despite their “war on women” strategy, they will have depleted their arsenal.

In their most candid interviews to date, various Democrats and abortion industry players admitted in a Politico article today they know abortion has become a losing issue for them. They have hinted at it a couple times this year (here and here), but they show all their cards in this piece.

In order to get women to unwittingly support abortion, they are pulling out all stops, accusing Republicans of wanting to ban contraception,  encourage domestic violence, and deny women breast exams, maternity care, equal pay, and education access.  It’s all in a quite revealing article…

Former child actress: Attachment parenting consistent with feminism, if not liberal feminists

We care about what hormonal contraception does to your body and your brain. We research why doctors prescribe birth control to teenagers and adults who don’t have a “regular” menstrual cycle. We object to routine inductions with pitocin and interventions during labor because of the risks to the mother and the baby. We believe that […]

Why pro-lifers oppose abortion: Sperm pride

Click to enlarge… According to liberal feminists, men are only allowed to be fathers if women want them to pay child support. Otherwise, they’re only good for supporting abortion. Hence, the most tightly wound feminist of them all, Amanda Marcotte, was so galled by the cake above that she tweeted:

Pro-aborts rip latest study – by their own people – on abortion/breast cancer link

As expected, pro-aborts did not take well to my “The truth about breast cancer and abortion,” RH Reality Check’s managing editor Amie Newman relied heavily on one of the researchers publishing the study – to dispute the results of her own study: According to one of the researchers and authors of the report, Kathi Malone […]
