New poll/Old poll
The new poll question is up:
Who do you think should be named the 2008 Pro-Lifer of the Year?
Thanks for reader suggestions for nominees.
Here were responses to the previous poll question…
Here were your votes. Click on the map below to get a better view of your own brightly colored flag. Only 1 person voted from overseas, so I’m not including that map.
As always, make comments to either this or last week’s poll here, not on the Vizu website.
Jill,
Could you post brief bios/reasons for nomination for the poll options? I know who I’m leaning toward, but I don’t want to inadvertantly snub someone more deserving just because the name didn’t ring a bell right away.
Thanks!
OMG! You gotta be a total ignoramous to vote for Palin as “pro-lifer of the year”! Good grief!
Don’t you remember how she totally waffled and backed off from answering the question about abortion for rape and incest?
When she didn’t give a straight answer to that question I totally lost respect for her as a “pro-life” candidate.
Zeke, I have no idea who to vote for. I’ve never heard of Unruh, Burton, or Bereit.
Agree with you about Palin. She’s a disappointment to all sides of every issue.
I think John L likes her though
Burton 21 year old prolifer-CO Personhood Amendment
Bereit 40 Days for Life Campaign
Unruh Abstinence Clearinghouse also SD abortion ban
Thanks Carla
You are welcome Hal. Now I really have to go!! I mean it. :)
Thanks, Carla,
Now it’s clear- Lila is the obvious choice for me.
I actually met David Bereit — he gave a talk at a pre-40 days for Life Fall Campaign informational get together sponsored by my local right to life group; his information included explaining how the 40 days for life campaign worked and what we could do to participate. He even told an amazing story about a miraculous change from an abortion facility to a pro life resource center……
But I’m not sure whom to vote for…..
I vote Jill
“Agree with you about Palin. She’s a disappointment to all sides of every issue.”
Yeah, she’s almost as disappointing as the president-elect. He’s not even in yet and he’s already got the record for the most scandals. Oh, but of course, he’ll just keep on saying, “This is not the (Wright/Rezko/Ayers/Pfleger/Blago/Richardson) I knew!” What a disgrace this guy is, both to America and to the human race.
But I voted for Gianna Jessen, because she’s probably going to end up being the first in a long line of saintly, wonderful Christian pro-lifers (people who aren’t anything like me; people who are always decent and kind to their demonic oppressors) who is viciously slandered and attacked by the vile monstrosity who is due to be sworn in as president in a few weeks.
I nominate the 0’bama (pbuh) as pro lifer of the year for 2009.
The 0’bama (pbuh) has publicly confessed that he is a ‘committed christian’ and as such will reduce the number of human embryos/fetuses killed by abortion.
The 0’bama (pbuh) will accomplish this feat through an act of his omniscient, omnipresent, and onimpotent superhuman will.

Right after the 0’bama overcomes his addiction to nicotine.
Even Achilles, had that heel thing.

“vile monstrosity”
you say tomato, I say spectacular public servant.
“Spectacular public servant” even before being inaugurated! Honesty is a virtue, Hal! But then maybe that’s why you’re opposed to it.
John, President of the United States is not the only job he ever held. Who said I’m opposed to honesty?
John, just read your blog. Do you want Obama to succeed?
