Breaking news: Pressured Sebelius signs pro-life bill
WIBW.com reported a little while ago that radical pro-abort KS Gov. Kathleen Sebelius signed 28 bills today. #12 on WIBW’s list was this:
Modifying the Woman’s Right-to-Know Act
SB 238 modifies the Woman’s Right-to-Know Act by requiring physicians who utilize sonogram equipment in connection with an abortion procedure to inform the woman that she has the right to view the ultrasound image. It also requires physicians who utilize heart monitor equipment in connection with an abortion procedure to inform the woman she has the right to hear the fetal heartbeat. Finally, SB 238 requires facilities in which abortions are performed to post certain notices, and requires KDHE to make information regarding fetal development available in printed, electronic and video format….
Not mentioned is the bill was passed with a veto-proof majority, so Sebelius would have been stupid to nix it, although in months and years past she might have anyway, just because she’s that bad. Actually, Sebelius has vetoed ultrasound and woman’s right to know bills in the past. As I said, she’s just that bad.
Pro-life stalwart KS State Sen. Tim Huelskamp , interestingly running for Congress against US Senator Sam Brownback’s former chief-of-staff Rob Wasinger, wrote the real reason Sebelius signed the bill in an email alert tonight:
“K K K Katy” is no doubt neating her head against the wall at this point !
This is great news…
Unfortunately I think it is all but certain Sebelius will be the next health secretary, but I wonder how many Republicans will try and stop it?
I’d like to see a filibuster but don’t know if there will be enough support for it. At least 3 Republicans are likely to support her so we need some Democratic support.
Another reason she signed the bill is because of pressure from Brownback, the person who was recently crucified on these pages.
So when the votes appear to over ride her veto, she acts like it was her idea. Go bimbo.
Where is she whinning about the expense causing an undu burden on the mom? The other item, If Tiller does these abortions for 6 thousand, it looks like that would buy a lot of baby formula.
I don’t know how The Right to Know Laws enacted in 22 other states play out, but here in MN the abortuaries “make available” the information by telling scheduling clients on the phone they are obligated to ask them if they want to hear about fetal development, alternatives, & the like. Abortion workers consider themselves in compliance if a person says “no” then—there is no real education going on. The only plus to having an ultrasound is now sidewalk counselors can encourage the women to look at their babies, 80% who do choose life.
A good examination of Tiller’s aquittal is found here…How Sebelius subverted the Tiller trail

Joanne states…”Unfortunately I think it is all but certain Sebelius will be the next health secretary, but I wonder how many Republicans will try and stop it?”
Joann, Joanne, JOANNE!!!, WAKE UP! You must be dreaming if you really believe that;
A. elected politicians represent what you believe.
B. republicans are better than democrats on issues of Life.
C. there is even one Supreme Court justice (7 of the 9 are republican appointed) that believes an unborn child is a person, or even human!
D. the media won’t ruin the career of any politician that gets in the way of their culture of death message.
E. the current president of the U.S. won’t mock the church, catholics, and pro-lifers, either directly, or by lieing at the Notre Dame commencement speech.
F. the catholic and evangelical churches aren’t so deeply entrenched in abortion regulation that their message no longer is consistent with its actions and politics.
G. the disgraceful National Right to Life organization will accept the $10,000 gift offered to them a year ago to produce one piece of evidence that even one Supreme Court justice is NOT pro-abortion.
H. Sebelius had nothing to do with Tiller’s most recent acquittal, and his prior one’s.
