Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards pushes universal abortion care at Summit
Yesterday President Obama hosted a health care summit at the White House. It has already been noted no pro-life healthcare groups were invited.
But pro-abortion groups were present in abundance. Following is Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards’ statement.
Listen carefully. Richards wants universal health care because the “millions of women who come to us are primarily low income.” PP’s clientele keeps it from raising its prices, which have increased only slightly over the decades. PP needs government intervention to increase its profit. This is one of 2 reasons why PP wants mandated taxpayer coverage for all PP’s services, including, of course, abortion.
(Richards also stated that within her 887 clinics 97% of services are for “preventative health,” i.e., not abortion. I’ve previously explained how this largest abortion provider in the US skews stats. Interesting, btw, is the fact Cecile never mentioned the A-word in her statement.)…
Richards’ second reason for supporting universal healthcare was her concern about “access.” What does that mean? Two things.
“Access” on one hand means, according to Wendy Wright of Concerned Women for America, “no interference with abortion or family planning (translation: no regulations or limits, no protests allowed – nothing comes between PP and their victim) – and fully government funded.” “Access” also refers back to an element of the Clinton plan that would have required federally mandated services (which included abortion) be available in every geographical region of every state – forced abortion provision that would benefit PP either by government funded PPs in every nook and cranny of the country or PPs affiliated with – and perhaps within – hospital systems.

I’m not sure how many of you have seen the movie The Devil’s Advocate with Keanu Reeves and Al Pacino…it’s pretty nasty in parts, but actually kind of interesting…These pro-deathers remind me of the lawyers in that movie. The ones that are corrupted by evil. Their entire lives are polluted because they work for, essentially, the devil. The pro-deathers work for the devil as well. They certainly don’t work for God! They’re as evil as anything we see in prisons…serial killers, rapists, child pornographers…But they think what they are fighting for is noble because it’s legal. Well, to that I say, just because it’s legal doesn’t mean it’s right. Actually, I’m not sure how any country can call itself civilized when it condones the slaughter of the most innocent forms of life- human babies. Freedom of choice. Give me a break. I am SO sick of hearing that silly phrase. The choice a woman makes to have sex has consequences. She knows that when she makes that decision. Pregnancy is not a random condition that strikes unsuspecting individuals. It happens to those who seek it. If you are a woman who is having sex, then you are seeking it, because that is the main reason for sex. I’m not speaking from a moral perspective here, although I am a Christian. Sex=procreation. Any medical bookd will tell you that. You cannot separate the two, because even with the best form of birth control (aside from a total hysterectomy) things can, and do, happen. Grow up and deal with it responsibly. Don’t murder your own child because you don’t feel ready for a baby yet. These are all old arguments…I am aware of that. But true nonetheless. I just get SO frustrated!!!
The actual ultrasound and heartbeat of the unborn child both tell me that we have more footing to stand on than the oogeyboogey witch doctor and snakeoil salesmen. “Yes, Virginia, there really IS an unborn baby in there!!” :D

We will have healthcare rationing. It will be restricted and abortion argues for less need to ration healthcare dollars.
Obama doesn’t want real reform. His lying lips can’t breath discussion of tort reform and capping judgements for attornes suing in malp[ractice.
As dishonest as he is, tell us why the lawyers will not talk about the billions of waste that go to legal settlements.
One of my friends quit when he had a bill for over 100,000 dollars for malpractice insurance as a Urologist.

In 2006 PP performed 289,750 abortions.
And they served 3,140,540 total clients.
Simple math shows that only 9.2% of their patients have abortions. That’s a FAR CRY from your wackydoodle claim that they perform an abortion on 100% of their clients. The only one skewing statistics is YOU and your anti-choice buddies.
