2 mothers notified complaints against Tiller moving forward
I previously reported that on March 27, immediately after a jury found KS late-term abortionist George Tiller not guilty of 19 misdemeanor charges, the KS Board of Healing Arts issued a statement it was proceeding with more serious charges, including fraud.
Operation Rescue reported today it has been made aware KSBHA has notified 2 women who previously levied charges against Tiller that their cases “remain open and are progressing through the system,” according to OR.
One complaint by a woman identified as Shaye is Tiller’s office lowered the gestational age of her baby after 1st arriving at an age by ultrasound too advanced for TIller to abort without getting a 2nd opinion and breaking the law.

The 2nd mother hearing from KSBHA, known as Patient S., apparently suffered cardiac arrest during her abortion but was taken to the hospital after being revived by TIller in his personal car and told to keep her IV bag out of sight.

You must be kidding me??? He revived her and threw her in his car for transport? Oh yeah, abortionists are indeed the bottom of the barrel!! How can women actually defend people who do things like this?
Ok, in any other practic of medicine if a doctor has a patient that is having a life threatening medical issue they call 911 for an abulance. Why do abortionists continue not to do this?
Don’t you think they would be on the phone with 911 ASAP?!

gestational age 22 weeks = 24 weeks after last menstrual period
According to the American Pregnancy Association, gestational age is calculated based on the first day of the last menstrual period. Conceptional age is about 2 weeks less than gestational age. So, gestational age 24 weeks = 24 weeks after last menstrual period = conceptional age 22 weeks.
Believe it or not, it is my understanding that reality is actually correct.. Pregnancy does begin roughly 2 weeks BEFORE you even have intercourse, which is most accurately described by the day of your last menstrual period. So indeed, at 24 weeks pregnancy, the fetus would be only about 22 weeks old gestationally i.e. from conception.
Tiller might as well just own Kansas. Must be nice to be above the law. It makes me feel bad for other doctors who make mistakes in their medical practices, yet they get their socks sued off!! It’s just not fair.
Had this woman died, Tiller would be saying “Death is a possible side effect of abortion.” He probably makes the women sign a paper {to C.H.Ass} and had this woman died, it would have been swept under the rug. Oh well.
Most doctors use gestational age when refering to how far along you are. So when a doctor says you are 8 weeks pregnant, that means it has been 8 weeks since the first day of your last period. In actuality, it has only been 6 weeks since conception. A typical pregnancy lasts 40 weeks – from the first day of the last period.
Since the exact date of conception can vary due to differences in the length of a mestrual cycle, it’s easier to use the first day of the last period as a reference point to determine how far along you are. In cases of IVF and other Assisted Reproductive Technologies, the exact date of conception, or conceptional age, may be known, but is ‘converted’ to gestational age to conform to the norm and avoid confusion.
Regardless of how far along in pregnancy this woman was told she was…. the fact remains she had chosen to have the baby aborted.
Its hard for me to have any sympathy. Abortion is killing the baby regardless of what stage in pregnancy it is.
What does the law refer to? The age of the fetus literally, or the gestational age of the pregnancy?
I know when my wife’s water broke at 23 weeks post LMP the doctors gave us survival rates based on that number, not based on the “actual” age of the fetus. I also know that the “viability” was established by the weeks post LMP, not by the corrected age of the fetus. What does the law explicitly refer to?

I’ve heard of family pets that responded more appropriately to a medical emergency, saving an owner’s life.
You’d expect the staff at Tiller’s clinic to have, at the very least, as much good judgment as the family pet.

Tiller the Killer. This endangerment is pure medical imcompetence. The reason he won’t do an ambulance is because sidewalk counselors call the tv station immediately.. Check the Kansas news. some woman got 90 days jail for shooting neighbors dog on her property.
Oh and the keep the IV bag low and out of site? that is dangerous also. If it is low, the chance of an airbubble entering her vein goes up.

Jasper, you are correct! Heck, Tiller could dance stark naked in his abortion clinic parking lot and the cops would just keep going….
Let’s not forget the enormous amounts of money Tiller has pumped into Kansas politics. He owns the state and those who run it…from the governor on down the line.
He donates money to get them elected and they do him favors.

I find the use of LMP extremely annoying. Let’s say that I know the day I ovulated to within a couple days, and I know my date of LMP. If my LMP date is March 2, but I didn’t ovulate till the 28th, all their dates are going to be off if I get pregnant.
When I got pregnant, I didn’t even remember the date of my LMP, but I knew the day I conceived. They all acted like I was super-irresponsible and causing huge hassles because I had a more accurate measure instead of a less accurate one.
Doctors are so stupid sometimes.
