It is what it is. In the Obama administration the abortion industry has a powerful accomplice to attempt to intimidate and silence pro-lifers.
Even as the House Homeland Security Committee launches an investigation into how the Department of Homeland Security came to label pro-life activists as potential domestic terrorists, we already know. We already knew, actually. They’re just saying it.
And kudos to Eleanor Smeal for waiting 10 whole days before attempting to raise money off the death of late-term abortionist George Tiller.

Why is it that several abortionists become rapists but they are responsible for their actions alone, but what one radical does comes back at all pro-lifers?
I simply cannot understand hatred. What would drive a group of people to hate the disabled, children, non-Anglo (once again, all of these pro-choice groups that pop up are Anglo…), and poor? I just don’t understand. :(
US Marshals are going out to talk to every abortion provider they can find, offering assistance on how they can improve their security. The announcement aboive is actually innaccurate. The DOJ approached abortion providers first. The doctors didn’t ask for protection, since the best security is to remain anonymous.
If you resent abortion providers receiving minimal federal protection thanks to a 1994 federal law (the FACE Act), then lobby to change the law. And if a pro-abort threatens someone on your side, report them to the FBI.

I recall they tried to sue protestors under the frad and racketeering act which was designed for the mafia. If they can demonize the christians, they believe they have a chance. tiller even in his last court case played the victum card. he was shot at and other things and should get off on his crimes because of that.

No, Tiller did not do abortion to save women’s lives. The hospital down the street induces labor to save women’s lives. Then they try to save the baby. That’s how things work.
Tiller killed babies because their mother’s hid their pregnancies until the 3rd trimester. Or he killed babies because they weren’t “perfect.”
We have got to stop the lie that Tiller was somehow saving lives with his abortions.

Forcing people to be afraid is a form of propaganda (as I’m certain that you know by now), XPPC. I think that it’s properly called “appeal to fear,” and the fact that their letters always end with something along the lines of “for women” is ad nauseam.
I could be wrong though; I’m not an expert of propaganda. The only thing that can be said with all certainty is that we ourselves must never tolerate, accept, encourage, or use propaganda. It’s a nasty thing, and it has no place in society.

‘Propaganda’ has a negative contemporary conotation, but the acutal definition of the word is neutral. It means propagating information helpful to your cause and does not necessarily have to be false or fear provoking.
Spreading the gospel of the kingdom of God is propaganda.
Using fear to elicit a desired response to the gospel of the kingdom of God is manipulative.
Manipulation is wrong. It is tool of darkness and not of light. Manipulation is closely akin to witchcraft and the occult and ‘fear’ is at the heart of it.
Fear of direct confrontation. Fear of not getting what is desired by asking directly. Fear of being held responsible and accountable for publicly promoting a particular course of action if the course of action should fail or produce a result that is not desirable.
Propogating ecologically responsible behavior in itself is propaganda but is not inherently wrong unless you indulge in ‘fear’ to elicit a desired repsonse that clear minded people would not other wise provide.
‘Climate change’ is not fear mongering.
‘Global warming’ caused and changed by man made activities is fear mongering and it is manipulative.

I don’t think it’s so much as “facing” the abortionist, as I do think that perhaps people like Tiller know instantly after death that what they did was horribly wrong and they also know why it was wrong. And I think they then understand the magnitude of what they did.
It’s just my opinion and not theology! And I love you too Carla! You are an awesome mother and a very very courageous woman. :) (Aubrey is proud!)

xppc, yes. Indeed many scummy abortionists are raping and molesting their patients. Patients who they view as a piece of meat on the table. There are many other sites and books that tell the truth about what goes on, yet abortionists know that these women won’t get anywhere by reporting abuse!!

I totally agree with this Carla. All unborn babies, and all children too young to understand and make their own decision about accepting the Lord are safe with Jesus. We can’t even begin to imagine how wonderful heaven is!

Did you read about the CA woman who let O’Reilly know she had an abortion as a minor w/out parental knowledge and the abortionist molested her? OF COURSE! Those girls are sitting ducks for pervs like this to prey upon. I’d never even thought of parental consent from that angle.

Yes it’s my firm belief that all unborn babies as well as young children go straight to the arms of Jesus when they die. When I think of someone like that dear Caylee Anthony, or about abortions, the one thing I hold onto is they are safe with the Lord in a place we cant even imagine the beauty and the love.
And I agree also we all will be judged one day, Christians too but it won’t be a judgement of condemnation.

I’d like to end all clinic violence too. All they have to do is close them permanently. Then the violence of abortion will end.
And too bad those “pro choice” folks don’t believe in pregnancy crisis centers (at least not for the most part). The only “choice” most of them believe in is abortion.

Isn’t it amazing how the pro-aborts call CPC’s “fake” health centers? How self-absorbed can they be to worry more about their own survival as an industry than what women need?
The pro-aborts are also the first to blame us pro-lifers that we don’t care about women or the “already born”. What they don’t don’t know or ignore is that CPC’s also may provide clothing, diapers, cribs, vouchers for food, housing assistance, and whatever help possible for them to ease into their role as a new mother. Many churches are involved in this type of “ministry” as part of their social outreach programs.
I recently had a CPC magnet stolen off of the back of my car. It had the name and telephone number of a local outreach organization on it. I’m guessing it was not a fellow pro-lifer who did it.

I have legal documentation about our local abortionist. His name is Martin Ruddock! The guy has been sued numerous times. He settled out of court for 1 million bucks after a botched abortion left a woman sterile. I’d be happy to send it to the mods for posting. Anyway, one woman came forward by the name of “Catherine.” It seems that after Ruddock performed an abortion on her, he began calling her for a date! The complaint says that he called her numerous times at work and at home, and he did not call to inquire about her medical condition!
Cleveland, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Health has ordered that a late-term abortion clinic close due to “over a dozen code violations.” The Center for Women’s Health in Cleveland was informed that its license would not be renewed after inspectors discovered that the clinic was not meeting even the most rudimentary of standards, such as taking a patient’s temperature and blood pressure before risky late-term abortion surgeries.
Abortionist Martin Ruddock, who ran the abortion mill that would do abortions — including partial-birth abortions — through the second trimester of pregnancy, did not believe his clinic should have been subject to the state laws that regulate ambulatory surgical care facilities, even though his ads described his clinic as such.
Ruddock did not have an emergency transfer agreement with a local hospital, and endangered one woman with abortion complications when he had difficulty finding a hospital to admit her.
Ruddock’s clinic is one of nearly a dozen abortion mills to close across the country since June. Most were closed by various state authorities, which had uncovered violations that included the delivery and alleged murder of a live baby, workers aborting women without medical licenses, and the misuse of the hazardous abortion drug RU 486, among other charges.
“The closure of Ruddock’s clinic shows that the implementation of standards are effective at stopping abortion until it can be banned nationally. Standards are useful tools that are putting abortionist clinics out of business in droves,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “As a result, our land is not only a safer place for women, but also for the child in the womb.”
“Arrogant abortionists, such as Ruddock, will never adhere to the laws because they somehow think they are exempt from the same rules everyone else must follow. Their unwillingness or inability to follow the law has become their undoing,” said Newman.
Abortion mills have been closed for unsafe conditions in Ohio, Alabama, Florida, and California.
However, in Kansas, the Board of Healing Arts continues to ignore the death of a teenager last year during a botched third-trimester abortion, which included the documented misuse of RU 486. A similar misuse of RU 486 led to the closure of an Alabama abortion clinic earlier this year. The Kansas Board also refuses to deal with the filthy, roach-infested conditions that have been uncovered at two Kansas abortion mills.
“Although the trend is toward states clamping down on their outlaw abortionists, we still have some work to do in others,” said Newman.

A Cleveland law that allowed the arrest of a man on a sidewalk in front of an abortion business because someone inside was “annoyed” with the sound of the business owner’s voice is being appealed by a public interest law firm.
The appeal filed by the Alliance Defense Fund comes in a case involving Hugh Caughan, who twice was cited by Cleveland police after using a portable tape recorder to play a 911 recording of the voice of the owner of the Center for Women’s Health, Martin Ruddock.
The tape contains a recording of Ruddock, an abortionist at the clinic, speaking to a 911 operator after complications occurred during an abortion procedure on a 30-year-old woman. “I just can’t stop the bleeding. I can’t see what I’m doing, and I want her out of here,” Ruddock says on the tape.
Gaughan played the recording as a way of educating women about the life-threatening dangers associated with abortion, according to the ADF, but twice was cited by police for violating a city ordinance, and now no longer can play it because he fears further arrests.
The law, however, clearly violates a U.S. Supreme Court conclusion that descriptions such as “annoying” actually set no standard and therefore cannot be enforced, according to the law firm.
“The interesting thing about this is he was regularly playing this tape, and police officers were out there every time he did it. They never changed the volume and never were arrested until there was a complaint from someone inside the clinic,” ADF Senior Legal Counsel Jeff Shafer told WND.
He’s coordinating the appeal of the case, which requests a review by the full U.S. 6th Circuit Court of Appeals .
A second plaintiff, Thomas Raddell, the Cleveland area director of Operation Save America, also is involved in the case because he also has played the tape outside the clinic although he never was cited or arrested on the occasions he was there.
The lawsuit originally was filed against the city in 2005, but lower court rulings have upheld the ordinances, even though Shafer said it leaves entirely unclear what would be considered legal and what would not.
“How on earth are you able to tell what’s legitimate or not,” he asked, because what is “annoying” to one person isn’t necessarily annoying to another. And someone with an objection to the message of speech may object to having it heard at all.
The U.S. Supreme Court has found, according to the latest appeal, that such statutes must be struck down. In a case in which a Cincinnati ordinance that banned people from gathering on a sidewalk and “annoying” passers-by, the court ruled:
“Conduct that annoys some people does not annoy others. Thus, the ordinance is vague, not in the sense that it requires a person to conform his conduct to an imprecise but comprehensive normative standard, but rather in the sense that no standard of conduct is specified at all. As a result, ‘men of common intelligence must necessarily guess at its meaning.'”
“The Constitution forbids municipalities from regulating the speech of its citizens through vague and overbroad ordinances,” said Shafer. “The stifling of our clients’ pro-life speech through the enforcement of Cleveland’s hopelessly vague ‘sound device’ statute illustrates well why such laws are constitutionally condemned.”
The city’s regulations regarding sound devices give as a cause for action the “annoying” nature of the sound.
“If the City of Cleveland wants to regulate sound within its jurisdiction, it is welcome to do so,” Shafer said. “But it may not accomplish this goal through imprecise laws which serve as instruments of discrimination.”
ADF is a legal alliance defending the right to hear and speak the truth through strategy, training, funding, and litigation. Its lawyers argue that city laws cannot be used to keep people silent simply because “they have a viewpoint that some consider controversial.”
