2/18, 9:12: This morning the House will vote on the amendment offered by pro-life hero Congressman Mike Pence (R-IN) to deny all federal funds, through September 30, to Planned Parenthood Federation of America and its 102 affiliates.
It is not too late for you as a pro-life citizen to take part in this historic vote by calling your representative NOW to urge him or her to support Amendment #11 to the Continuing Resolution (HR #1). As the National Right to Life Committee recommends, “If you already called, please call again.” Call the US Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and ask to be connected to your congressperson’s office. If you don’t know who that is, go here to find the name by submitting your zip code. In some cases you’ll need to know your 7-digit zip. Find that here.
Last night House members debated the Pence Amendment for over 2 hours. Watching it was glorious. Opposition excuses to continue funding the abortion behemoth obviously avoided PP’s record of wrongs dating back many years, including accusations of fraud in multiple states, cover-up of statutory rape, and most recently a willingness to aid and abet sex traffickers of adolescent and illegal prostitutes. Here was Congressman Pence’s opening salvo…
A direct link to last night’s debate is not yet available, but it can be viewed here starting at time stamp 11:55:00. As you will see, many pro-life Members including veteran leaders, pro-life women, doctors and freshman, came to the floor to speak out against taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood.

My congressman is the one and only Daniel Webster, who defeated the detestable Alan Grayson.
I am most assured Webster will vote to defund that pernicious hydra.
Loved to hear Pence’s remarks. He was clear in speaking up those who value human life, real care for women and girls, and the interests of the taxpayer not to pay for a corrupt organization.
This is a striking example of how fiscal and moral issues are connected.
Excellent. It’s about time tax-paying pro-lifers not be forced to pay for abortions which they morally oppose. Let’s pray that Planned Parenthood be defunded. Baby killers should not receive $360 million in government funding. I think Crisis Pregnancy Centers should receive the $360 million instead. Planned Parenthood tries to blame pro-lifers for their damaged reputation but it’s their own fault. Nobody forced Planned Parenthood to break the law….they willingly choose to do so…..and then they got caught. It’s amazing how Planned Parenthood thought they could carry-on their evil work indefinitely & enjoy financial subsidies in the process.
Thankfully all my congress-critters have 100% pro-life ratings from NRTL, but I called Rogers’ office to offer support, since there’s probably been a lot of calls on this.
Unfortunately, Martin Heinrich in New Mexico, is strongly pro-abort. He has received campaign donations from Planned Parenthood. I have contacted him numerous times and his response was that New Mexico desperately needs HR 1 because it includes funding for Kirtland Air Force Base and many people would lose their jobs. He did not touch on the PP issue at all. In the email I asked him what he planned to do to protect exploited women and he did not touch at all on the subject. While campaigning, he spoke at PP in Albuquerque. Don’t expect help from my state.
