- Secular ProLife says China is slated to move to a 2-child policy by 2015 – not because they believe their one-child policy is immoral, but because of a growing labor shortage in the country. Gender bias will no doubt continue to impact of the quality of life in Chinese society.
- Wesley J. Smith writes of the increasing anti-human sentiment growing among rabid environmentalists. One even states, “Within nature, people are a cancer upon the planet.”
- Suzy B counters pro-Planned Parenthood celebrities with a story of actor Martin Sheen’s “winning” personal testimony and pro-life convictions.
- Vital Signs paints a disturbing picture of a future world devoid of persons with Down syndrome. The reason will not be due to a “cure” but because of a search and destroy mission to eliminate all preborn babies with DS.
- Alveda King notes the strong reaction of African-American pro-life leaders to Mayor Vincent Gray’s protest against cuts for DC abortion funding, and their plan to start a new pregnancy resource center in DC.
- Mark Pickup passes on information about the New Beginnings Community Center, “a state of the art brain injury and cognitive impairment rehabilitation center” opening in Medford, NY in memory of Terri Schindler Schiavo.

The news from China is not fabulous; but I guess we can call that a ‘gain’ for pro-life. I look forward to the day when all Chinese women and their families can have whatever size family they please and not be arrested for simply being pregnant.

Just as Hitler had been planning for years to enslave the Poles and kill the Jews, he had been planning to murder every German with a disability…As early as 1929 he [Hitler] proposed that 700,000 of the weakest Germans be removed per year.
In August 1939 every doctor and midwife in the country was notified they must register all children born with genetic defects–retroactive to 1936. In September, when the war began, the killing of these ‘defectives’ began. In the next few years five thousand small children were killed.
After Hitler’s success in France, a new day dawned. Bonhoeffer and so many in the Resistance had been convinced that Hitler would ruin Germany by dragging it into a military defeat. But who could have ever dreamed he [Hitler] would destroy Germany through success, through an ever escalating orgy of self-love and self-worship? Actually Bonhoeffer considered it in the truncated speech given two days after Hitler came to power. He [Bonhoeffer] knew that if Germany worshipped any idol, it would incinerate it’s own future, as those who worshipped Molech did by burning their own children.
