Nick and Mariah are “humbled” by their blessings
I’m in the happiest place I’ve ever been in my life…. I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God’s Favor!

they had a boy and a girl…perfect!
Congrats!
I can’t help but like these crazy kids. Congratulations to them!
Congratulations to them – and because of the bravery of Nick’s mom to continue her pregnancy with him, (instead of abort), these children are a reality. Lovely, all the way around! Love wins! Many blessings on your family Nick and Mariah! ;)
I just hope they don’t give these precious one some bizarre names, like many celebrities (and non celebrities) do!
Love this couple! I predict unique names will be bestowed on these twins. (With a name like Mariah, I don’t think they will have ordinary names but we shall see.) LL
I bet those are some beautiful babes!!
@ Laura, a name like Mariah? I’m confused. Mariah is a variation of Maria (like Sarah and Sara) and is a very traditional and long standing name. And in the top 100 girl’s names currently. It means ‘bitter’ or ‘from the sea’ in Hebrew.
Hi Jespren, I have never known of any other Mariah’s other than the celebrity. Thanks for enlightening me, I really appreciate it!
She was named after the song by Marty Robbins “They Call The Wind Mariah” :)
Laura, I’ve got a thing for name origins and meanings :) probably because I have a paradoxical name (real name is Jessica) it’s obscenely common but nobody can ever decide what it means/origins. Most commonly it’s said to be a female form of the Hebrew Jessi, but most Hebrew names have translations into other tongues (like Sela is Tongan for Sarah) but Jessica exists only in English…but dig enough and the 1st historical reference to the name is actually in Merchant of Venice, Shakespear made it up! (And my mom got the name from Dune so I was named for a book character with a name invented by an author). Anyway, I hope I didn’t come off as snarky, was trying to figure out if I was missing something, which, aparrently I was as Pamela chimed in that she was named for an Irish song.
@ Pamela, nice bit of trivia and I love the Cranberries rendition of that song!
I believe the song “They Call the Wind Mariah:” is from the musical “Paint Your Wagon”. I’m apparently alone in thinking that Clint Eastwood sang pretty well in the film.
I’m sure Marty Robbins coverered it later.
DH has a cousin in high school named Mariah. I know of some Moriahs (probably spelled that way to differentiate from the singer). Definitely a legit Hebrew biblical name.
Congrats to them as well and God bless. (But I don’t think a boy and a girl is necessarily “perfect.” I have a “perfect” family with “perfect” spacing and I can’t wait to mess it up :) )
Hope they don’t stop at two! Love makes more love! ;)
Is Nick Cannon the person who did the pro-life video “Can I Live?”. Someone here who is computer savy maybe can post the video for us to enjoy, if I am correct. God bless Nick and Mariah and their new bundles from heaven.
I have a niece named Moriah. It is a different name, though also Hebrew origins. She was named for the biblical Mt. Moriah, while, as was said earlier, Mariah is a variant of Mary or Maria. I’m Marie, my mother and grandmother were both Mary, so I guess my sister thought there was enough bitterness in the family. ;)
According to People Magazine, the names have been revealed:
Moroccan Scott Cannon
Monroe Cannon

Moroccan? Monroe?
Whatever floats their boat, I guess.
Mo and Mo.
