Anthony Weiner: This is what a feminist looks like?
Michelle Malkin has more on the hypocritical liberal feminists whose lips are still sealed – be it for pride, fear, neediness, protection of abortion – about misogynist, exhibitionist, predatory two-timer Anthony Weiner.
And there’s a huge other element to this story that isn’t getting the investigative coverage it should: Weiner may have stalked underage girls. [Warning: graphic]
Pro-life Democrat Kirsten Powers, a former girlfriend of Weiner’s, makes some astute observations about Weiner at Mediaite.com in a must-read interview. For instance…
“…liberals are supposed to be the feminists, the ones who stand up, you know, against misogyny, against predatory behavior against women, I mean, feminists used to do that, right?”
[HT for photo, which I tweaked to devulgarize: Mario on Facebook]

Reminder: prostitute-frequenting Republican David Vitter is still in the Senate. And unlike acting like a desperate, sex-obsessed weirdo to people you meet on Facebook and Twitter, prostitution is illegal.
As long as the men vote to uphold the sacrament of abortion, they will be permitted to get away with any kind of personal behavior.
The true test of a man is what he does when he thinks no one is looking.
Real feminists don’t take crotch shots and sen them randomly around the country. And they don’t advocate for killing baby women either.
joan,
Reminder, Barney Frank, who’s boyfriend ran a prostitution ring in Barney’s basement, which of course Barney knew nothing about, is still in Congress. Ted Kennedy, about who space and good taste won’t allow for elaboration, remained a liberal icon in the Senate until he died.
Let’s also not forget Bill Clinton, who remains a liberal and feminist icon despite having interns service him in the oval office and being accused of everything from exposing himself to rape. Didn’t some prominent feminist say she’d be happy to give Bill a “Lewinsky” just for keeping abortion legal?
Let’s dispense with the sanctimony joan. You folks have happily turned a blind eye more than once.
Our hearts should go out to Mrs.Weiner, who I understand is pregnant. What should be the happiest time of her life is instead a time of anguish, shock, and incredible humiliation.
We can only hope Mrs.Weiner suffers no ill effects from what must be a very emotionally trying experience that I can’t even begin to comprehend.
Jill, sorry for being vulgar, I just could not help it.
Feminists are looking more and more masculine every day.
“Let’s dispense with the sanctimony joan. You folks have happily turned a blind eye more than once.”
No sanctimony, just a reminder that those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones, or in this case, accusations of hypocrisy. David Vitter is not an isolated example either. A number of other prominent Republican officials, former officials, and talking heads also have checkered moral (if not criminal, as in David Vitter’s case) pasts, and yet remain in the good graces of most conservatives. Anthony Weiner’s indiscretions are fairly minor in comparison to many such cases. As far as anyone currently knows, he confined his horndog behavior to online interactions with adult women, and did not actively cheat on his wife or otherwise elevate those indiscretions to “real life”.
Joan, exactly which conservatives are in my good graces?
Powers” confusion is easily cleared up by a simple exercise in rhetoric, and history. The greatest liberal icon presidents of the 20th Century were FDR, Truman, and JFK. Each embroiled us in a major war, and were military hawks. It was FDR who developed the atom bomb, and Truman who dropped two of them. JFK, NOT Ronald Reagan, gave us the largest tax cut in American History.
The truth is that each of these men is politically a shade different than Newt Gingrich. They would be derided by the modern Democrats and Liberals. In operational terms, “liberal” simply means “champion of new social reality,” as opposed to “conservative,” which seeks to conserve.
What was once bold and new is now established and old. That which the liberals championed is now the provence of the conservatives. A new breed of Democrat has emerged over the past 40 years. They are a vulgar, empty shell of what once was, living caricatures of themselves.
The women are called feminists.
The men are called castrati.
“As long as the men vote to uphold the sacrament of abortion, they will be permitted to get away with any kind of personal behavior”
Like David Vitter who is still in the Senate? Whoopsie, he’s very “pro-life.”
And how bout Christian “family values” guy Newt Gingrich who cheated on his second wife with his sweet, Christian third wife. He’s running for president.
And re Vitter – he was into doing it in diapers!!!
joan,
Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones? I couldn’t agree more.
Oh yes, Weiner’s “indiscretions”. Right. Stalking underage girls. Well, Bill Clinton’s sexual assaults were referred to as his “private life”.
CC,
What I find more repulsive than diapers is our president, that feminist icon Clinton, being serviced by an intern in the oval office while having a phone discussion about our men and women serving in the military with a member of congress.
What I find more repulsive than this is sexual assault.
Mario, no worries! I love the t-shirt.
did not actively cheat on his wife or otherwise elevate those indiscretions to “real life”.
Weiner’s indiscretions took more of his time away from his wife and obligations than if he had “actively cheated”.
But what a thoughtful hubby for saving that 2.368 second activity for the woman he really loves.
“What I find more repulsive than this is sexual assault”
What Mr. Clinton did was consensual and between two adults. Obviously, unprofessional but not illegal. And despite rape allegations against him, nothing was every prosecuted.
Beloved anti-choice GOP Congressman Henry Hyde admitted to “youthful indiscretions. Oh, right. He was anti-choice.
Funny, I don’t remember this kind of outrage when Sen. Larry Craig was doing his toe tap in a men’s bathroom. Oh right, he was anti-choice.
Mr. Wiener is going to be a daddy. Shouldn’t that be a cause for rejoicing in the anti-choice crowd!
No, CC. It speaks for his wife. A lesser woman might see this as a “crisis pregnancy” and kill her child. But then that might make you like Wiener more.
Vitter should have resigned if he did what he was accused of. I make no excuses for him. But that doesn’t make him any less right on the abortion issue.
“Weiner’s indiscretions took more of his time away from his wife and obligations than if he had “actively cheated”.”
Then you can just let Mrs. Weiner worry about that. I imagine most women whose husbands cheated on them would very much prefer that their husband had only flirted with women he had never physically met over the internet instead.
My take from all this is that he is more of a thrill-seeker than a cheater. At some level, soliciting attention from people you are attracted to is fairly normal, and Weiner found a fairly harmless way to do it, that he ended up taking too far. For now, at least, there are no broken homes or criminal charges as a result, so really, what’s the big deal?
CC 10:44am
According to Paula Jones, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick, it was not consensual. You remember these ladies, the “liars”, “bimbos”, “psychotics”, and “trailer trash”, as they were referred to by Clinton toadies. Nary a word of outrage from the feminists. Clinton wasn’t prosecuted for rape? Puh-leeze tell me you are not surprised. Do you think Broderick had a prayer of prosecuting Clinton? About as much of one as Pat Bowman had when she charged Ted Kennedy’s nephew with rape. The Kennedy millions and power to the rescue again. All with the blessing of the feminists, who maintained a deafeneing silence.
Oh yes, now Bill was “unprofessional”. Well gee, CC, so were those other guys. On that we will agree.
I imagine most women whose husbands cheated on them would very much prefer that their husband had only flirted with women he had never physically met over the internet instead.
Yeah joan, because there are different levels of pain when you find out your spouse is a lying, cheating, disloyal pig. And remember oral sex is not sex either.
It doesn’t surprise me that you don’t see this as a big deal. You seem like the “thrill-seeker” type yourself.
All CC and “Joan” are doing here is proving – beyond a shadow of a doubt – that they are completely without a spiritual, moral or ethical anchor or foundation.
Situational ethics, advancing their social agenda and political expediency at any cost, is the liberal clarion call of the day for these leftie progressives who worship at the alter of abortion. D I S G U S T I N G !!
I will be very interested in seeing what they have to say when/if it is revealed that congressman hot dog cyber-stalked minors.
Probably won’t rattle them much as I suspect they believe that there should not be a statutory age which “discriminates” against children who desire to be sexually active. “Privacy” and all that, you know.
I realize I’m in the minority here, but I’m just gonna come out and say that I’m already tired of hearing about Weiner’s wiener. If he was stalking underaged girls, toss him in the clink. He is pro-abortion, so fire him from his job. Other than that, I hope he and his wife are very happy together…or something, but I just don’t care. For me, the only good thing to come out of this story have been the naughty headline puns.
Alice, I agree with you. The news value of this story is the crickets from feminists.
“Our hearts should go out to Mrs.Weiner, who I understand is pregnant. What should be the happiest time of her life is instead a time of anguish, shock, and incredible humiliation.
We can only hope Mrs.Weiner suffers no ill effects from what must be a very emotionally trying experience that I can’t even begin to comprehend.”
I totally agree I know alot of women go through this but not every woman has it aired on the tv.
She has been publicly humiliated I can only imagine what that would do to a woman’s self esteem.
Weiner lied – quite strongly and frequently and used the media of the United States to do it. He only came clean when was about to be fully exposed – if that were even possible(?). This is a Bill Clinton stare down the camera style attitude. Hillary is not furious – she’s simply coaching him, like she did with Bill. I really don’t think he’s ashamed – that requires morals.
Weiner’s lying brings up 2 major questions:
1) Did he use government funds for his indiscretions?
2) What lies/manipulations did he state when it came to Obamacare?
If Weiner stays in place it might be a good thing for America in the long run. He’s the posterboy of leftist programs and ideology, and can serve as a constant reminder of their agendas.
Weiner spent vast amounts of time on his internet compulsion, a cybersex life which is totally non-productive. He has utterly lost the respect of his colleagues.
Think of Anthony and remember other unproductive and failed leftie agendas: abortion, their war on poverty, multiplying two wars into four, government motors, global warming hoax, and gay marriage (sorry, getting a license won’t bring fruitfulness).
The Weiner scandal couldn’t happen to a nastier guy.
There’s creeps and pervs in both parties, what else is new?
“I will be very interested in seeing what they have to say when/if it is revealed that congressman hot dog cyber-stalked minors”
I’ll say what I said about Mark Foley when he was trolling for underaged male pages. Get Out!
“Think of Anthony and remember other unproductive and failed leftie agendas: abortion, their war on poverty, multiplying two wars into four, government motors, global warming hoax, and gay marriage (sorry, getting a license won’t bring fruitfulness).”
Abortion – still legal and still happening. War on Poverty - Put in place policies that keep people from dying in the streets. Put in place programs to help poor mothers and families get the education and training that they need to get out of poverty. War - two wars of choice started under George Bush. Global warming hoax – not a hoax as attested to by the majority of accredited scientists and the CIA which has addressed the security implications of global warming. Sea levels are rising due to the melting of the ice caps. Glaciers are melting and there is concern, in the American West, about future drought because of a lack of winter snow. But if college drop out Rush Limbaugh says it, it must be as true as the 6,000 year old earth. And gay marriage – still happening in Massachusetts which has the lowest divorce rate in the country and is the most educated. Marriage isn’t always about “fruitfullness” – it’s about love and not breeding. But then, the anti-choice movment is all about relegating women to breeding status.
If Wiener’s constituents want him to stay, that’s the end of story. What he did is creepy and very stupid; but so far, nothing illegal. I’ll take Wiener over any “family values” politician who wants to send women back to the dark ages by criminalizing abortion and birth control.
All the trolls can do is cry “vitter!” Yea, well, why don’t you go over to a Vitter fan page and bother them?
Just because we are pro-life doesn’t mean we give a free pass to all conservatives. In fact, I’m a registered Democrat. The trolls want to believe their own lies about pro-life people and I understand how badly they want it. Too bad, trolly trolls.
You give a free pass to anyone who supports infanticide and feticide. Cry ‘Vitter’ all you want, you still support the butchering of inconvenient babies and anyone who supports it with you, no matter how loathsome those people may be.
Years ago, Gloria Steinem got her bunny suit in a bunch because she was objectified while serving drinks. Now, trolls like CC and Joan support creeps like Larry Flint, Bill Clinton, and more. Because the only thing worse than sexual deviance is letting babies live, huh gals?
CC-if we are in “enlightened” times asopposed to the dark ages, and what that NECESSARILY means is women killing their own babies, then, my Lord, how enlightened are we? Are you Kidding me.
Trolly trolls! LOL!
Today we have a 14-year old come in for an abortion. It was her second. So much for comprehensive sex-ed. And her mother was post-abortive too. Such a tragic case, for sure.
No statutory rape – the boy (really a boy) was young too. Totally unbelievable. Prayers needed, for sure.
I’m sure CC will think this is enlightenment. Total nirvana. yes-sir-ee!
I hope someone other than the 14 year old boy wraps their arms around this girl. Let freedom ring!
well send me back to the dark ages,I brought children into this world!
the dark ages where all life was important not just some.
“the dark ages where all life was important not just some” – you are kidding, right?
The dark ages were no better really. We seem to suffer through the ages from the inability to value all life. Just who we devalue changes.
Oh, Joan, you know I forgot to mention that pornographers have found a way to get around the illegality of prostitution: film the sex acts and sell the DVD’s or put it on the ‘web. Voila! Legal prostitution.
“– you are kidding, right?” sarcasm :) but if not being allowed to murder unborn children is the dark ages in your eyes then yes. Our wombs were meant to grow children in, just like our hearts are meant to pump blood.I don’t think it’s natural to stop our body parts and organs from doing what they are meant to do. Our wombs were put inside us to grow children I’m proud that my body creates life. can I get any more feminist? lol I don’t know any men that can grow a child do you? in your face men jk ;) lol
even when it seems impossible to have children due to your life style we are human and we are only as limited as we let ourselves be.
I honestly believe the women who choose to have children even when they don’t think they can but push their own limits are far more proud to be a women then a weak woman saying I simply can’t so I gave up and aborted my child.
Mrs. Arnott, you said “the dark ages where all life was important not just some.” which is simply not the case. It wasn’t sarcasm, it was amazement that you think such a thing.
You stated that if we criminalize abortion and birth control that we will be thrown back into the dark ages -could you please elaborate on that? I am having a hard time with this considering that birth control pills were made public in the 1960’s and Roe vs Wade was ruled in 1973 and the dark ages ended in 800 AD.
“but if not being allowed to murder unborn children is the dark ages in your eyes then yes. ” or did you miss that?
Seeing as other people have already said things I wanted to say, I just want to point out that “Mrs. Weiner” is named Huma Abedin, not Huma Weiner. My parents have been married for 35 years and some of our own relatives still don’t know what my mother’s name is, although it’s been the same for 61 years.
If my married name was going to be Huma Weiner, I’d keep my maiden name too. Bless her heart.
A person’s private sexual behavior is not just his or her own business. Sex is a creative and destructive force. It leads to problem pregnancies, STDs, and, at least for the female, can cause mental anguish. How we behave sexually affects other people. A moral person tries not to harm others. Much harm can be caused through irresponsible sexual behavior.
Question – What law did Mr. Weiner break?…….
Still waiting……..
Isn’t there a law against torture like water boarding?……. One that we promised the rest of the world we would not break? One that we used against other countries to justify our hostile takeover of their regimes? Wasn’t Saddam found guilty of torturing his own citizens and others before he was hanged with our consent and on youtube?
What law did Mr. Weiner break again?
Why don’t you just say “we hate democrats and this is a good excuse to push one out of office.” That is all this story is about.
Mrs. Arnott, you said “the dark ages where all life was important not just some.” which is simply not the case.
There may well have been fewer abortions but only because of a lack of medical knowledge and equipment.
Lack of abortion created an increase in infanticide. Then there was good old murder. And war. And disease.
You can keep your dark ages, I’ve seen nothing in the historical records which makes me believe it was more ‘life-affirming’.
wow that one really went over your head didn’t it?
I said if not being allowed to murder children IS the dark ages. or do you not get that? how your missing that I don’t know.
So, what law did Weiner break?……. Still waiting for an answer…..
The point you are missing Mrs.Arnott, is that to claim “the dark ages where all life was important not just some” is mistaken. Life back then was pretty cheap in all forms.
Can you name any countries which had laws against abortion in the dark ages?
Any where abortions did not take place?
Where infanticide and murder thy neighbor wasn’t a regular occurence?
So “if not being allowed to murder children IS the dark ages” is highly inaccurate.
wow I didn’t think i would have to dumb it down for you this much but here you go.
I’m not talking about “the” dark ages I’m talking about “your” dark ages.
because you said that if abortion was banned NOW it would be like being thrown back into the dark ages.
The point you are missing Mrs.Arnott, is that to claim “the dark ages where all life was important not just some” is mistaken. Life back then was pretty cheap in all forms.
Can you name any countries which had laws against abortion in the dark ages?
Any where abortions did not take place?
Where infanticide and murder thy neighbor wasn’t a regular occurence?”
you tell me your the one who said
” politician who wants to send women back to the dark ages by criminalizing abortion and birth control. ” you really contradict your own statement there with your last post. maybe you should keep track of what you say.
