It’s Black Friday, so help fund abortions
For me, the holidays aren’t about how much I can buy and how many gifts are under the tree. It’s about family and friends….
Rather than going to the crazy stressball that is any store on Black Friday, make a donation to your favorite charity – donate to an abortion fund, Planned Parenthood, or NARAL! It’s easy, and it doesn’t take much to make a difference.
With the year those of us working for abortion rights have had (and the tough year I foresee ahead), it would be a great way to show your support.
~ Revolutionary Vagina, Abortioneers, November 22

I like the idea but for supporting CPC’s. I hate black friday. I refuse to be a part of it. But I love the idea of trekking over to my local CPC and making a donation.
who cares about black friday? the entire meaning of christmas became lost with gift giving. its just another day as i have to work.
make a donation to planned parenthood? HOW MUCH MONEY DO THEY NEED? arent our tax dollars already paying for abortions? did you know that some abortions cost well over 1000 bucks? imagine the repeat customers. oh they make me so sick!
@Sydney: I hate Black Friday, too. I haven’t heard of any deaths this year–though there’s plenty of other violence–but for the three years prior to this one, somebody died every year getting trampled by overeager shoppers. And all the stores deliberately feed the mania to even more ridiculous heights running doorbusters and midnight shopping and so on.
Apparently, it ain’t Christmas until somebody’s dead from shopping for it. >:[
Yuk, to think that donating to an abortuary is even considerd “charity”. It’s the antithesis of what’s charitable. I’m with you, Sydney. Giving $ to CPC’s is a work of mercy.
Use the money you’d be spending on gifts for your children to help make sure someone else never has to buy a gift for theirs.
Awww, gee, you’ve had a tough year, huh? (sigh) Not as tough as all the babies you’ve torn apart. Here’s hoping this new year is even worse for you!
LOL! Well, it started out on the right path…
Love the idea of supporting charities – but abortion is the exact opposite of charity!
And Revolutionary Vaginas? LOL!!!!!!
Abortionteers!? LOL!!!!!
…I think this is one of Jill’s funnies instead of an actual organization – too funny to be actual names ;) ;) ;)
I know this is no laughing matter….but honestly… too much haha.
i mean dont these women just flash a medicaid card? why do they need donations?
Amber, that’s one of the tamer names on that blog. There’s “silky laminaria” and “desembarazme” (basically, “make me not pregnant” in Spanish). They obtain humor out of the killing of children…
Kate – that’s the only way they can lie to themselves about what they’re doing it – cover it up with silly names instead of what it is – MURDER!
Hey Sydney – Have you heard about Small Business Saturday? If you go to the Facebook page you can see a list of stores near you, I think.

Basically Amex runs a great promotion where if you spend more than $25 on an Amex card in a participating small store, they give you a $25 credit for that purchase!
I never do Black Friday shopping and never have – and like heather I have to work anyway; holiday weekends are when I work the longest hours – but I do enjoy spending time with my family, since they are all in town for the holidays. And a lingering browse at a local store is a nice way to spend a Saturday morning with them! I have a lot of preferred local stores in NYC but this morning I spent a nice 45 minutes with my mom and my sister at a boutique in my parents’ small river town. We bought gifts for three families we have been long-time friends with, and we split the purchases between the three of us, so we got $75 total from Amex towards our gifts. Money spent at small businesses stays in the community and supports local residents, so it’s a win-win!
Also, I’ve written this on previous posts, but Sienna Communications, a cell phone carrier gives part of your $ to a pro-life charity of your choice. You can do this all throughout the year.

Yes – good grief, Christmas stuff starts showing up in some stores after Labor Day, if not July 4….
lol doug…true!
