Republicans need to remember their original platform

Nowadays, we got too many in the Republican Party who say we need to stay away from the life issue and God, even though He’s the One who endowed us with our inalienable rights in the first place.
See ya’ll, if you’re not ready to stand for life first, liberty, the pursuit of happiness and recognize that these are God-given rights, then you lay the path for all citizens to be slaves.
You’re not grasping the profundity of the Republican Party platform.
~ Alfonzo Rachel, PJTV’s ZoNation, January 24

I absolutely ADORE Alfonzo! He’s worth following on ZoNation.
Who are all these Republicans who are non-religious and pro-choice? I certainly have never met them. I do know Republicans who think that enforcing Christianity on the nation is wrong, but I don’t know any non-religious ones. Maybe Xalisae, that’s about it.
Jack, I know several fiscally conservative Republicans who are not Christian and who also happen to be pretty liberal when it comes to social issues. They identify as Republicans because their strong beliefs when it comes to fiscal issues override their liberal feelings toward social ones. At different times I have asked several of them over time where they stand on abortion, and each of them said they either don’t care, it doesn’t effect them, or “it’s between a woman and her doctor.”
Oh, I see, I just have only met “Religious Right” Republicans, I thought it was a requirement, lol.
That’s funny you say that, Jack, since one of my “Fiscally Republican” acquaintances has a quote on his facebook info page that says something like “Trying to rescue my Republican Party from the Religious Right!”
Thank you Rachel!
Only the Democratic Party is comprised monolithic, lock-stepping ideologues who impose their morality on everyone else and stifle dissent by demonizing their opponents. Sometimes I wish the Republicans would be more focused. Then I realize that they are the party that does allow critical thinking.
Jack,
I take it you’re not a member of a country club.
I am not white enough for a country club… totally kidding, kinda.
Well, that explains it then. The elites of both parties are busy showing their compassion for the “off-color” people by supporting their right to reduce their numbers.
:) and :(
“even though He’s the One who endowed us with our inalienable rights in the first place.” – well there’s a fundamental error from the get-go.
Reality,
blame the Founding Fathers, and then come up with something better, if you think you can. Sorta makes the USA a bit of a non sequitur then, don’t it?

HAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAA!!! Love it!
Jack-
Thanks for the shout-out. ;P
Not so fast there Kevin.
It states “that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights”.
For you that ‘creator’ may be ‘god’. For people of other faiths it may be their version of ‘god’ or some higher power. For myself and others that ‘creator’ would be evolution, all the way back through our forebears.
