- A female infant in India has died after being beaten by her father:
Police arrested her 25-year-old father, Umar Farooq, who relatives alleged tortured the child as he was upset at having a daughter instead of a son. - Authorities in China allegedly caught a group of people providing illegal gender tests via ultrasound.
- Planned Parenthood affiliates in Texas are suing in an attempt to get funds via the Women’s Health Program:
The lawsuit, filed in federal court in Austin, asks the court to file a preliminary injunction to stop enforcement of a rule that Texas legislators approved in 2005, denying participation in the program to any clinic affiliated with an abortion provider. - A ban on abortions after 20 weeks has passed the Arizona House and Senate (the bill also includes other pro-life provisions) and just needs Gov. Jan Brewer’s signature to become law:
The proposal increases the current requirement that an ultrasound be performed before an abortion from one hour to 24 hours before. It also requires abortion clinics to post signs providing notice that it’s illegal for anyone to coerce a woman to have an abortion.In wording similar to that in the laws of other states with 20-week bans, the Arizona legislation specifies that the state’s ban would start from a point “as determined with reasonable probability by the attending physician.”

What kind of sense of entitlement must an organization have to sue the government for not giving them money?
Looking forward to Gov. Brewer signing that bill into law. We need more states to follow suit…COME ON, PENNSYLVANIA!! :) (I have less hope for my future state of Delaware… *disgruntled*).
But, Lyssie, Gov. Brewer is a woman! She could never sign a law like that! ;)

500 X 365 = 182,365 female suicides in just one year in a socialist paradise like communist China.
That does NOT include all the female children murdrered en utero or the baby girls murdered post partum due to China’s ‘one child’ policy.

I <3 Gov. Brewer. She’s a tenacious woman who is trying her best to combat Obama’s $hit! What I wouldn’t give for more governors with a set of ovaries like her in office. Go Governor Brewer! :)
A ‘female infant’? Why so clinical? How about ‘a baby girl’ ? Sounds so much more..HUMANIZING.
Would someone explain to these men that its THEIR SPERM that makes baby a boy or girl?

Brewer has done some pretty hardcore and decidedly non-pro-life stuff already.
