MSM ignores Planned Parenthood rep’s (and Obama’s) infanticide endorsement
… [A] government-funded organization just sent a representative to testify that she is not entirely sure a mother does not have an inalienable right to murder; the president whose administration funds her organization has expressed the exact same sentiments, and in fact voted on them — several times.
An honest culture, an honest media would consider this distinction:
– Todd Akin expressed an opinion supported by no one of his party, that was a part of no platform, that virtually no one alive had ever heard expressed before, whereas…
– This demon in Florida is not the first to equivocate on murder; she has an ally in a high place, and belongs to a billion-dollar organization that has equivocated on “legitimate life” frequently and publicly.
One of these incidents deserves a national conversation — especially during the trial of Kermit Gosnell, a man who actually acted on the theory of “legitimate life,” and likely murdered hundreds.
But the other one got it.

and this is a surprise how?

But real outrage is more uncomfortable and not as charming as faux outrage. Real outrage is simply not the fashion of the day – it is not trendy. Real outrage means work and doing something, and actually thinking independently about an issue and not accepting the fabricated thought provided by group think.

agreed, Tyler – it seems that the only outrage the MSM can generate is about the things and people they are told they should be outraged about – guns, right wing “extremists,” “anti-choice misogynists,” etc – so no matter what the story, we get the prepared response – mass shooting? must be the fault of the NRA and the right wing crazies (never mind that it was leftie that did it or that the new gun laws would not have prevented it) – high teen pregnancy rates? must be the fault of the religious right and their shaming of women about abortion and the lack of contraceptives (never mind that contraceptives have a high typical failure rate that the kids are not told about or that PP is promoting a culture of promiscuity without responsibility)
of course, I guess it is easier to spout rhetoric than to think and to hold hands, sing Kumbaya and tell everyone they can do whatever they want and we will all have a love-in (unless, of course, there is an R after your name or you could be described as “Pro-Life” or you talk about “family values”)

“An honest culture, an honest media would consider this distinction”
And therein lies the problem. It seems that political correctness is the new honesty.

It’s pretty sad that this would probably be getting more coverage if it was about killing puppies, kittens or baby seals instead of human babies.

Wow! “Legitimate life”. That sums up the pro-choice mindset perfectly! And that’s not a classic case of “misspeak” like with Akin, but it is their actual belief.
