How to convince a girl to get an abortion
If you are not ready to be a father, the following arguments may help you convince a girl to get an abortion. The first two methods I describe below have worked for me in separate instances for the two abortions I have paid for….
How The “Hail Mary” Works
You need to bring up the subject of abortion with every ounce of verbal finesse and situation-appropriate sensitivity. You should sound as sincere as possible and tell her that you want her to be the mother of your children one day, but that now is not the right time to start a family. Explain you want to wait until you are further along in your career/life goals and you can afford to give your future family all the comforts of life you cannot deliver today. Finally, explain if she has the abortion now, you will be able to plan your lives together so that everything is perfect. Then, after she agrees and has the abortion, dump her. It’s called a “hail mary” in part because of its difficulty to execute, so if you stay with her post-abortion and she becomes pregnant again you’re really f***ed….
How The A**hole Method Works
You need to channel your inner cold, unforgiving, unapologetic asshole nature, as nothing less will suffice. You must not ask, but rather tell her to get an abortion because if she refuses this child will be a bastard. Explain to her in no uncertain terms that you will not be a father to this child. I would avoid personal shots of telling her she is unfit to be a mother because this could backfire on you, but make it clear that if she keeps the baby you will be opting out of fatherhood. Explain that while she may end up collecting the minimum in child support that the state can take from you, in no way will you participate in raising this kid or being a father to it. To instill the seriousness of your message, add that you will refuse any efforts in the future to include you in the child’s life….

Jaime, you’d be surprised … notice the first “method.” The guy is saying “all the right things.” I mean, for a woman who doesn’t have a strong stance on abortion, maybe who’s never thought of it before, that sounds pretty good. Oh, he wants to eventually take of me. He wants kids with me – it’s just a timing issue. Guys who use that have probably been singing the same song the whole relationship.
You know, women (and men) deserve so much better from relationships. I wonder if so many settle because they don’t realize that truth and just want sex now and want to feel wanted in some way, even if they suspect it’s a sham. Instant gratification has got us here, and it’s a cold, lonely place to be.
I was standing in front of Marty Ruddocks clinic one day and this hulk of a man was telling his small girlfriend “you are having an abortion!” She was crying to pro lifers “no i don’t want this!” She was hysterical pleading with him. She ran back to the vehicle they had arrived in and we offered to call the police. The guy kept lifting her up and was practically dragging her into the clinic saying “I ain’t paying for another dam* kid.” Marty saw the drama and opened the back door to assist them. He walked them in himself. The poor girl finally caved. She hung her head and walked in. I will never forget that day.
The majority of Martin Ruddocks abortion patients are African American ….sadly so was this couple.

Yes MA it was awful ….we are confined to the sidewalk or its trespassing …this girl was crying kicking screaming to this guy “I don’t want to do it!” He kept telling her “We aren’t leaving here until you do!” I guess if you can’t talk her into it then drag her there and force her into the clinic. She was fighting to dave her baby. I’m sure she had to go home with him so she accepted defeat.

So by all means let’s keep the tools men have to hurt women, i.e. continue to make it easy for men to manipulate and coerce women into decisions that may only be detrimental to her but beneficial to him.
For blue and her ilk it is not a question of protecting women Mary. They are fine with the woman having access to unrestricted abortions 24/7. Anything beyond that is not their concern. Unless of course it involves making whoopi without taking responsibility for the post-effect.

Actually, most of the time, when even the biggest of spoiled brat, childish, self-centered, self-indulgent males are confronted with the challenge of living out real fatherhood…they somehow find it in themselves to rise to occasion like a real man should.
There are many examples of good men in mid-life who became so only after fatherhood. See the below example of Elton John even at age 66 it is never to late to grow up.

Perhaps that is what they need to see. Perhaps the sight of someone so moved and tender towards them and their child is exactly what is needed. Perhaps they may think to themselves, why is she crying? Does she care about this being inside me? Is this pregnancy really worthy of tears? Should I care? Does she care enough to help?
BV – The goal of restricting abortion is not to force men to become stand-up fathers and partners – they have to make the choice to do that for themselves. The goal of restricting abortion is to protect the human rights of the unborn child, because his/her rights should not be dependent on if his/her biological father is a stand-up father.
I find it shocking that you think a baby with an absentee father is not worthy of life for that reason alone. By your logic, President Obama should have been aborted.
The “Wildcard Method” is the creepiest IMO.
What saddens me more, is the fact that this guy does not realize that while doing what he thinks is right, he’s killing his Sons and Daughters.
It would not matter to me if he wanted another child, “later” his Son or Daughter is present in this world *now*. Killing one would mean to me that he’d have no compulsion about killing another Son or Daughter.

Thankfully BlueVelvet you can draw these silly equivalencies precisely because you weren’t aborted. Have you ever stopped and considered that any pro-choice person’s mother might have wanted an abortion, but was persuaded otherwise by a prolife sidewalk counselor? I imagine not all of those women who change their minds go on to tell their children. For all you know, those forced-birth people may be the only reason you are alive today. You should be thankful for life and be willing to help in whatever way you can so that other people can live to, it’s the egalitarian thing to do!

I don’t know about that. I don’t think we’d have near as many deadbeat fathers if that were necessarily true (motherhood doesn’t always make a selfish woman better either, as evidenced from neglect and abuse committed by biological mothers). I think last I read something like 6 million single mothers don’t even receive child support (which I don’t equate to “fatherhood”, there’s much more to being a dad than giving the mother a paycheck, but financially supporting your children is one part of parenting).
Now, it’s true that a lot of those 6 million have unknown fathers (he can’t parent if he has no idea that he has a kid), and in some cases the mother never asked for child support, and some cases where the dad is unemployed or otherwise can’t help not financially supporting his kids. But even with those factors, there are still millions of men, when faced with fatherhood, go “meh” and try to get out of being responsible for the kid. That’s not even counting the fact that divorced men rarely seek joint or full custody (I can’t imagine being fine with seeing my kids every other weekend). And with unmarried parents, if the father is present at all, he’s almost guaranteed not to have full or joint custody (some of that is because parental rights are heavily biased towards the unmarried biological mother, but still most men don’t fight it or attempt to get more visitation or parenting time).
Now I’m not bashing on men or anything, there are plenty of awesome dads, but there’s pretty obviously a problem in this country about how boys are being raised to see their responsibilities towards any children they create. It seems as though children are seen as the mother’s responsibility for many men. I am wondering if this attitude is partially where all these men come from, who proudly make websites about tricking their girlfriends to abort or abdicating their parental responsibilities, using women as sex dolls instead of making real relationships, etc. I wonder how many boys who grow up to be adults who think like that were abandoned by their own fathers, and learned that men don’t have to be responsible for their kids because their father never took responsibility for themselves? But anyway, I don’t think having their own children necessarily makes these types of guys better. I think we need to do a better job reaching them when they are young, and for the love of pearl we need to stop equating fatherhood with sending your “baby momma” a paycheck every month, that attitude definitely isn’t helping.
Men who are promiscuous and irresponsible often support legal abortion not because they believe it makes women “easier” but because they feel obligated to since they know their conduct will lead to abortions regardless of whether it is legal or illegal. Look at the top “girly” mag publishers: Heftner, Guccione, Flynt. I believe that all 3 supported legal abortion.
Is there a publisher of a top “girly” mag who is active in the movement to outlaw abortion? There might be but I would be surprised.
Slick Willie, Ted Kennedy, and many other sexually promiscuous men support or did support legal abortion. Again, they feel like they have to support it since their conduct will send patients to abortionists regardless of legality.

My first encounter with anyone who had an abortion was a beautiful young lady whose boyfriend did the “hail mary” approach with her – then dumped her immediately after the abortion. I was horrified.

I had the same experience, except watching a friend go through the A** method-the guy totally berated her, and left her shattered. She went through with the abortion she had already scheduled and the next day she got a birthday card from her mother=heart wrenching. She continued being promiscuous. Any one out there know how a girl should be rebutting these profane maneuvers? I hear plenty of condemnation of her poor choices, but what advice is she getting? Give it up if you got the answer to her problems. P.A.S.S. = the best cure is prevention. What smart comebacks she should have in her back pocket?
The “Hail Mary” method is sickening for many reasons–and let’s not forget using the first 2 words of a prayer as a name for something this sinister. That’s very insulting to me as a Catholic Christian.

(Denise) An abortionist on speed dial? I’d bet the farm on it. However, I wonder what happens with the ladies who DON’T abort. Are the babies adopted out? Does Hef quietly support the children and their mamas? There must be 100 people, maybe more, indeed maybe many more, who are Hef’s kids — but may have no idea they are related to him — or to each other.
“Incest” is often coupled with rape as a reason for abortion. I was criticized for pointing out that incest is sometimes consensual. Many times it is also unwitting with neither side knowing they are brother and sister or (most likely) half brother and half sister.
