Pro-choicers to “pretty up” clinic that looks like it’s in trash bag

The Jackson Women’s Health Organization is already a dazzling pink, and clinic owner Diane Derzis and clinic director Shannon Brewer-Anderson have invested a lot of time, resources and thought into making the clinic feel safe and welcoming to the women they serve. But the clinic is surrounded by a wide fence to keep out a regular collection of protesters. And in order to provide additional protection and privacy to patients and the people who work there, the fence is woven through with a thick black tarp.
The impression from outside is something like the clinic is caught inside a massive garbage bag.

You people create a situation where the clinic and its clients need protection and then you quibble about how it looks, now that’s amusing.
Dazzling pink? More like nauseating. Kinda a pepto pink. Abortion clinics…always classy places.

Reality, the author of the article said the clinic looks like it’s “inside a massive garbage bag” due to the tarp around it – not us.
And I hardly think the decision to paint it Pepto pink was made because the abortion clinic clients need protection. I mean… seriously? If you felt threatened, you’d paint your “place of business” some color that stands out from every other building? No. I don’t think so.
I think the ones really needing protection are the ones being killed inside the clinic – oh, and considering the fact that Derzis couldn’t even manage to keep her Alabama clinic up to code, the women going there need protection, all right, but it isn’t from pro-lifers.
