Breaking: Nationwide V-Day vigils will protest Planned Parenthood sex trafficking sanctuaries
This Monday, Valentines Day, ExposePlannedParenthood.com will sponsor a Vigil for Victims in front of all Planned Parenthoods nationwide, from 12 to 1p, no matter which time zone you live in.
Get details at link. Excerpts:
Are you sick and tired of PP getting $363 MILLION of taxpayer funding a year – while aiding and abetting illegal underage sex trafficking?
Take a public stand Monday 2/14 and tell Congress: “NO MORE TAX $ FOR PLANNED PARENTHOOD!”
“Vigils for Victims” of underage sex trafficking are being organized outside Planned Parenthood offices coast-to-coast on Monday, February 14, from Noon to 1 PM in each US Time Zone …
… and YOU can make a profound impact in one hour!
For the last two weeks, the national media has been abuzz with the shocking story of the undercover sting operation that caught abortion giant PP red-handed in the despicable act of aiding and abetting sex trafficking and prostitution of girls as young as 14….
The institution-wide scandal has now reached the highest levels at PP, with top executives making the appalling claim that their workers who were caught on video facilitating underage sex slavery “responded professionally….
*** ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! ***
We must act swiftly and take a public stand against Planned Parenthood’s harmful agenda — raising awareness in the communities where we live, and calling upon Congress to IMMEDIATELY strip the abortion chain of all tax funding.
This Monday, February 14, all people of faith and conscience are being called upon to hold one-hour “Vigils for Victims” of human trafficking during the Noon hour in the public right-of-way outside PP offices nationwide.
This requires rapid action, but will show PP – and the media – the power of pro-life America to bring about change!
ExposePlannedParenthood.com shows you how to find you nearest PP (by entering your zip code at PP’s site – haha), how to promote your vigil (with emails, Facebook posts, Tweets, and press releases already prepared for blasting), sample signs you can either copy or take to your nearest Kinkos to enlarge (see below), and fact sheets to distribute.
Your work has already been done! Let’s make this huge!

What about the unborn?
If you are going to criticize and condemn and picket Planned Parenthood, surely you would emphasize their killing of millions of human children, which is vastly worse than their enabling of underage sex trafficking, as awful as that is.
Through all this terrible PP scandal, we seem to have lost sight of what our movement is really all about, stopping the killing of the unborn.
Joe- I understand your passion, but there are a few ways to look at this. First, being pro-life does not just include defending the unborn but also the already born. It is about upholding the dignity of all persons. So there is no reason to not fight for justice in both issues. Second, sex trafficking is a huge problem in the US. People really have no idea how prevalent it is. So, consider how many of those victims get abortions? By helping to eliminate the cover up of sex abuse of minors you also help alleviate abortion numbers. Finally, realize that when chipping away at the wall of Jericho it will eventually come tumbling down. Chipping at it from all angles helps to hinder the work of abortionists spreading.
Joe, I agree with you that the kiling of unborn children is terrible. But unfortunately, many people don’t realize this. They’ve been misled into thinking that abortion is a humanitarian thing. It’s a deception from the pit of hell.
But decent people on both the right and the left can see the evil of sexual trafficking, especially the sexual trafficking of minors. And if they can’t, they’re not decent people. This is an issue that will pull millions of well meaning liberals (not all liberals, obviously) into our camp and and against PP in a way that the abortion issue never could.
” This is an issue that will pull millions of well meaning liberals (not all liberals, obviously) into our camp and and against PP in a way that the abortion issue never could. ”
If you can find millions of liberals gullible enough to fall for obvious right-wing disinformation campaigns like “Live Action”. Meanwhile, anyone with room temperature IQ or higher realizes that this has been one big, meaningless stunt that says more about the desperation of the anti-abortion movement than it ever could about Planned Parenthood.
‘A stunt’ that happened over and over again for a long time (looking the other way while underage mandatory reporting goes undone?) I’d say that is a pattern – one I’ve seen personally myself at our local PP.
Patterns of corruption eventually get dealt with, hopefully. And I am praying that many on-the-fence, never-thought-about-it-much, good-hearted people will rise up and say ‘we won’t take it anymore!’
I think someone else on another thread reminded us that it was the IRS that took down Al Capone. I know that this is an unusual take-down – but with Abby Johnson (from the inside), LiveAction, Dr. Gosnell debacle, etc… we are witnessing something very interesting. And the bad economy is helping here, for sure. People and governments will want to save money and help minors in one fell swoop.
And don’t you love that PP complained to the US Government, asking for an FBI investigation about the ‘pimp’ in Indiana? There is just a teeny problem here – – Live Action did not do a sting in that state. Great one. ;)
Have a lovely evening.
Al Capone’s reign of terror ended when he was convicted of tax evasion. William Wilberforce ended the slave trade in Britain by proposing a ban on British ships flying the French or American flag. Sometimes you need to fight against evil indirectly, and that’s exactly what Live Action is doing. If Planned Parenthood falls, a huge leg will be kicked out from under “Big Abortion”.
The problem is, Planned Parenthood won’t “fall”, they won’t even lose their tax subsidies as long as the Democrats control the Senate. Even then, they will go on killing human beings as they have for decades.
“Good-hearted people will rise up and say ‘we won’t take it anymore!'”. Take what anymore? They won’t be demanding that PP stop committing prenatal homicide, only that they change their policies to stop enabling child trafficking. This is because we are ONLY condemning them for enabling child trafficking, not for committing child killing.
How are we going to get people to rise up against child killing, if we only condemn child trafficking? The goal is not to get people opposed to child trafficking, but to get them opposed to child killing.
There is NO mention anywhere in the announcement about PP killing human beings in the unborn stage. How can a movement which is trying to stop the criminal destruction of human beings not even mention this mass killing when attacking an organization which commits that killing? I can understand condemning both child trafficking and child killing and tying them together, but to ignore prenatal homicide while talking about another crime which is not relevant to the goals of our movement is baffling.
Joe, to be blunt, it’s because NO ONE CARES THAT PLANNED PARENTHOOD IS KILLING 300,000 UNBORN CHILDREN VERY YEAR. We who are involved in the pro-life movement care. But NOBODY else does. Understand that the majority of Americans COULDN’T CARE LESS about 50 million unborn children being killed, and that mentioning the word “abortion” to these people will TURN THEM AGAINST YOU.
Joe, my father is vehemently pro-choice/abortion. I remember hearing stories from him about when he was fifteen, before Roe v. Wade, he supposedly saw the aftermath of a coathanger abortion, and that experience made him think that legalized abortion was best for women. Is he an evil person who gets a kick out of dead babies? No. Does he honestly believe abortion is good for women? Unfortunately, yes.
Now, compare that to the fact that a couple of years ago, there was a movie on Lifetime about sex trafficking and the sex trade. Do you know how I found out about that movie? My FATHER told me it was on, and told me I should watch it so that I could get an idea about what was going on and fight against sex trafficking.
Now then, if I want to tell my father that Planned Parenthood is evil and should be defunded, which tack do you think I should take with him? That they perform an evil act that he thinks is absolutely necessary, and good for women, or that they are covering up sex trafficking on a national, institutional basis? I would love to eventually convince him, and my “well, I wouldn’t have one, but…” mother that abortion is wrong because it is the killing of an innocent human being, but until then, I can tell them that PP is evil because they are supporting sex trafficking, and at least get them to agree that PP needs to be defunded. And if PP gets defunded, it does take a huge chunk out of abortion numbers. Is it a perfect way? No, but it at least gets my foot in the door with them.
I hear what you are saying (John and Lecaia), but we CANNOT win until we reach people with the message that killing human beings in the unborn stage is a crime and must be prohibited and get them to accept it. Talking about sex trafficking won’t accomplish that.
Meanwhile, we are not going to be able to end the taxpayer subsidies for PP, not while the morally bankrupt Democratic Party controls the Senate. The Democratic Party has totally and disgustingly sold their souls to the criminal abortionists and every one of their immoral politicians must be removed from power every chance we get at every election.
Emphasizing sex trafficking will only get people riled up about sex trafficking, not about prenatal homicide, so unfortunately it will not help us achieve our ultimate objectives.
Joe,
I wouldn’t be surprised if protestors are carrying traditional signs as well. Please don’t get discouraged.
I am discouraged.
I have watched this movement fail for forty straight years and I expect it to continue.
I do not understand why, but for some reason our movement seems not to have the ability to see what needs to be done actually to end the killing quickly and achieve victory.
Joe,
Keep the Faith and Pray, Pray, Pray (beg!). Jesus hears our cries for justice!
Joe,
Many of us are discouraged. As you say, what we have been doing for the past 40 years HAS NOT WORKED. We should not be surprised by this, though, because in the Bible God said that in the end times, evil will be called good, and good will be called evil. He warned us that the times would get worse and worse, mothers would lose the natural affection for their children.
John Lewandowski is right that people don’t care that PP is killing 300,000 unborn children every year. Those people have hardened their hearts against the value of life. That is why we have to appeal to another group of people.
People who don’t care about abortion may care very much about sex trafficking. Like everything else, PP has their achilles heel. They are involved in so many layers of evil, that something has to be their undoing. Our job is to turn over every PP rock we can find to see where the vermin crawl out so they can be crushed.
We are in a war for life. Look at it from a battlefront standpoint: military strategy dictates that the enemy must be attacked from all sides, not just the one they are expecting! As good as the Maginot Line was for a time during WWII, protecting northern France from Germany, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maginot_Line) it was only temporary, as Germany learned that the vulnerability lay on the east through Belgium.
Unfortunately, I can see what Joe means here. Some people are so heavily invested in abortion, that instead of the exposure of sex trafficking by PP making them re-think abortion, abortion will make them re-think the idea that sex trafficking is such a bad thing. It’s kind of like the argument we make that “if it’s not ok to kill a newborn, then why is it ok to kill a baby just before birth?” A NORMAL person would understand that; but a rabid pro-abort goes the opposite direction, like Peter Singer, and says “actually that makes sense…we SHOULD be allowed to kill newborns because there really is no difference!”
Am I making sense here? I just see abortion as being so ingrained in some people’s heads, that the threat of removing it by any other normally abhorrent thing simply makes them accept the other abhorrent thing rather than condemn abortion or abortion providers.
I am sorry but I want you to think about all of the babies that have been saved because their mothers chose life today!!! All of the families that are intact RIGHT NOW because we stood out in front of abortion mills and they listened and that baby was not chopped up into pieces!! All of the women that have been spared the agony of abortion!
There are still victories and miracles and amazing stories of hope still happening every day even though abortion is legal.
Take heart!!
I agree with Carla – remember – if you are a Christian – you know how the end of the book ends! We win – because God wins!
While I wish to high heavens that every person I talk with or even see decides not to abort their children! But we are out there as often as we can – and are OVERJOYED at the children and Moms and Dads that have been saved from abortion.
We have made friends with these families – some of whom we have had a relationship with for 6+ years. We are grateful for ONE save – and we have had a lot more than that.
For 40 years the Israelites wandered in the desert. For 400 years they were captives of the Egyptians. For lots of years blacks were taken as slaves from their homelands – and yet they are free now.
God is good. He is faithful. He keeps His promises. We need to persevere and have faith. We need to fight the good fight. Stay faithful until the end – and trust with joy – even in the midst of suffering.
We need to do our part – pray, witness, learn, do, help, be generous and above be faithful and loving. He will do His part and we will do ours. Reach out when you are feeling overcome. Leave it all in His hands. We can trust that He has us.
Trust. Love. Patience. The tide is turning. in 18 days Egypt just changed the course of history. Poland did the same. The Berlin wall is down.
Miracles happen. expect them. God is very good. ;)
Joe, 40 years of declaring that ”1 + 1 = 2″ only to have half the country scream “NO!!! 1 PLUS 1 DOES NOT EQUAL 2!!!” back at us is very discouraging. I understand that you want to make all people see that abortion kills an unborn child and therefore should not be allowed. This is self-evident. But in spite of how obvious it is to us, there are millions of people who refuse to understand.
The problem in the pro-life movement is that we tend to think like checkers and not chess…. PP didn’t get to the summit of power by using our tactics. They worked on the elites, got their backing, then bought politicians, then won judges, and since then have controlled 1 and a half political parties here in the USA while using the UN to boost their international power base.
To roll this thing up we need to be thinking and working on ALL levels, taking advantage of every opportunity including sex traffic and lax standards in their clinics. Abortion is just a PART of their ideology, so we need to see the conflict waged not just there but in sex ed, the pharma industry exploiting women, feminism, etc.
We need to provide alternatives to abortion (we’re doing that), but also expose the unsafety of abortion…. we need to provide alternatives to contraception and hedonistic sex ed… and highlight all the scandals of PP and others in current positions of power…
Some of the strategy needs to be strictly economic…convincing big business that abortion kills future clients and consumers so they need to get with the program and support the pro-life movement for strictly economic reasons.
Instead of boycotts… if we hear Coke is giving X money to PP we need to ask for matching funds! The more grants we get, the less they’ll get and the more allies in Coke or Pepsi or whatever…
Instead of protests in college campi, we need to challenge them to debates and equal treatment, creating Pro-life studies and demanding it on par with “womens studies” etc.
There’s no silver bullet, the other side is building an entire civilization…we need to stand up in defense of our civilization and a civilization is a symphony of inputs and institutions, not a solo…..
oh – I like those ideas – and I find the one of ‘pro-life studies’ on par with ‘women’s studies’ programs. Oh – that would be lovely! Now if we could convince the academia!
You don’t want to pit “pro-life studies” against “women’s studies”. It will probably never happen, but even suggesting it just makes it look like pro-lifers are against women and want to oppress them.
Also, for anyone doing one of the vigils, please take a moment prior to going and write down the information for any groups or charities in your area that help sex-trafficking victims. If a woman comes to you who isn’t pregnant, but who happens to be a prostitute who needs help escaping from her pimp, you must be able to help her. She is one of Planned Parenthood’s victims, and one of the reasons you are there!
