Actor Jim Caviezel: “Sin of abortion” can be forgiven

by Carder You don’t have to die to experience Heaven… but when you’ve committed a sin, any of the 10 commandments, or the sin of abortion, or contributed to it, let me be very clear. Did you go to one of your friends and ask your friend, “Hear my story?’” And s/he said, “Yes.” I […]

2014 pro-life summer boot camps for students

boot camp final

Following the tradition we started three years ago, we’re posting all the upcoming summer pro-life teen- and college-aged boot camps we found listed around the country. If we missed any, please let Kelli know.

As I’ve said before, if I had teens in the house  I’d not only send them to church camp every summer, I’d send them to at least one pro-life boot camp during their high school years. These provide a great opportunity to build strength and confidence in the sanctity of life and also launch lifelong pro-life friendships.

It’s great to see so many pro-life groups in so many states sponsoring these vital training programs for our young people.

Democrat congresswoman walks out of prayer gathering after Dobson calls Obama “abortion president”

Rep. Janice Hahn just wanted to hear evangelist Billy Graham’s daughter speak at Thursday’s National Day of Prayer gathering on Capitol Hill, but she ended up storming out of the room before that portion of the program could get underway. The California Democrat said she was appalled by the remarks of Dr. James Dobson, saying […]

  • Live Action documents another first person story of how Planned Parenthood was complicit in covering up the sexual abuse of a minor. Their callous disregard for abused children is appalling:

Over the years, I have found out that my story is very common in two aspects, neither of which will be good news for either side in the abortion debate. The first is the fact that my experience with Planned Parenthood was not an aberration. The sexual attitude often championed by Planned Parenthood is a serious factor in preventing the discovery of sexual abuse of young people. Had anyone shown even the least bit of disapproval or concern, I would have divulged the truth and begged for help.

Buffett Foundation hires architect of CA’s nonphysician abortion law

Tracy WeitzThe Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation has quietly hired Tracy Weitz, PhD, MPA, to head its domestic operation.

STBF is the charitable giving outlet for 83-yr-old Warren Buffett, the second richest man in the world, with a net worth of $63.4 billion.

Originally the Buffett Foundation, STBF was renamed by the billionaire in honor of his wife after she died in 2004.

STBF is currently ranked #14 in the Top 100 U.S. Foundations by Total Giving. STBF’s focus is population control. According to Buffett biographer Roger Lowenstein, Buffett has a “Malthusian dread that overpopulation [will] aggravate problems in all other areas – such as food, housing, even human survival.”

Architect: Let’s put abortion clinics in high schools and malls

by Kelli I think it’s so much about location and if, bear with me, I suggest that high schools — I know that in New York and California they can provide contraception and even in some schools in New York City they can provide emergency contraception — but what if abortion was accessible in high […]

Planned Parenthood loses $2 mil in donations, plus almost $2 mil more

This is an incredible story. On January 31 the Orange County Register ran an exposé on the whopping percentage commercial fundraisers bilk from nonprofits for telemarketing. In California, for instance, they get a ridiculous 63% cut of monies raised. And buried in that story was this gem: “I don’t blame the fundraisers,” [Doug] White [nonprofit ethics and fundraising […]

  • Americans United for Life notes that the Guttmacher Institute’s latest report shows a decline in abortion numbers, along with a record number of pro-life laws enacted. And yet, Guttmacher claims the laws had no impact on abortion. AUL also notes that the reporting of surgical and chemical abortions is still voluntary, by state, and California chooses not to participate at all.
