Four months ago Diana Jimenezhad an epiphany.

“I was pro-life but had no idea what an abortion looked like,” Diana told me today by phone. “Then I actually sawa video of an abortion, and my heart broke in pieces.”

A senior nursing student atBiola, a Christian university in La Mirada, California, Diana (pictured right) promptly launched a pro-life group and invited Gregg Cunningham, executive director of the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform, to speak. After a great deal of energy was expended to publicize, only four students showed up.

Diana was compelled to attempt greater outreach, and the clock was ticking, with graduation just around the corner.

50 churches within 2 miles of “Texas Gosnell’s” late-term abortion clinic (Osteen’s – 3 miles)

Click to enlarge… The worst part of this poster, in my opinion, is the fine print at the bottom: “This child was murdered in Texas by abortionist Douglas Karpen within 2 miles of 50 visible churches.” Furthermore, Lakewood Church, which boasts a weekly attendance of 43,500, and where Joel Osteen is pastor, is located only […]

“I’m a millionaire because I had an abortion”

10w-05World Life Organization and Created Equal co-rented a jumbo-tron at the January 26 Walk for Life in San Francisco. On the jumbo-tron was looped a 2-minute video showing the graphic reality of abortion.

One of the pro-life apologists behind the police-protected guardrail surrounding the jumbo-tron was Russell Hunter of Abolish Human Abortion. Russell was approached by a post-abortive mother who made a revealing declaration: “I’m a millionaire because I had an abortion when I was 18.” Here’s the video:

  • A Lima, Ohio abortion clinic has closed. Note the hilarious bias in the article:

A pregnancy services provider that lists non-surgical abortion among its services has shut its doors in Lima, but as of now, it’s unclear whether the closure is temporary or permanent.

The Capital Care Network Lima office had its front door locked, lights off and curtains pulled shut Wednesday afternoon.

Several calls made to the Lima and Columbus offices went unanswered many of the calls would not go through.

The wide range of pregnancy services that “pregnancy services provider” Capital Care Network Lima provided included abortion, abortion, abortion, emergency contraception, pregnancy testing and abortion counseling.

CO Supreme Court upholds ban against use of graphic abortion photos at a church

Exhibit #43 Baby RoseUPDATE 7p: I’ve added a poll, at the bottom of the post.

5:35p: I read with alarm a story at CNS News today that the Colorado Supreme Court is allowing an injunction to stand that prohibits pro-lifers from publicly displaying graphic images of aborted babies at a Denver church.

The Court’s reasoning demonstrated the height of judicial hypocrisy. It ruled signs such as Exhibits 43 and 9, right, “cause ‘psychological harm’ to children under 12,” according to CBN.

This from the same legal system that authorized the murders of the photographed children.

This obvious free speech violation is serious in and of itself, but the injunction also carries ramifications for other pro-life activists around the country.

  • Live Action looks at Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards’ post-election interview with the Huffington Post. She suggests that the Republican party return to former President Richard Nixon’s family planning program initiatives.

Interestingly, audio tapes have now made public the knowledge that Nixon was a racist and saw family planning as a way to control the African-American population. Others have reported that Nixon was pro-choice in his thinking, and he shared the same eugenic agenda at the root of Planned Parenthood and Margaret Sanger.

Sebelius to NARAL crowd: Graphic abortion photos a “discomfort when you’re coming to lunch”

“We’ve come a long way in women’s health over the last few decades, but we are in a war,” [Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen] Sebelius said at a NARAL Pro-Choice America luncheon [and Obama fundraiser] attended by about 300 people…. Outside the event, a dozen anti-abortion protesters silently held large grisly signs depicting aborted […]

Stanek weekend question I: Would Jesus carry graphic signs of aborted babies?

A pastor asked an interesting rhetorical question in the letters to the editor section of the June 15 Jackson Hole News & Guide (“Speech debate”): “Would Jesus carry graphic photos [of aborted babies]?” The pastor’s answer: “Have you ever seen the Passion of the Christ? You see, not only would Jesus carry graphic photos, he […]
