That would be great, but I’ll hazard a sad guess there’ll also be an abortion boom in 2-3 months, given the world view of the majority of his supporters.

Can abortion stats be broken down month-to-month? Where there are spikes in births post-national/historical events (9/11, Northeast blackout) it would not be implausible to find spikes in abortion rates.
As in the case of Obama euphoria, might we expect a January abortion boom… just in time for his inauguration?
After WW2 there was a baby boom (my mother was born a year or so after my grandfather returned from the war).
In a special newspaper type newsletter called “Why Trust Planned Parenthood?” it was mentioned that PP in a certain area was offering abortions for free after 9/11!

In the days that followed, I thought that, in some small way, some good might be recovered from the ashes of 9/11. The attacks forced us to think about what it meant to be Americans, shocking us into a new appreciation of freedom and tolerance. We were confronted with the specter of religious fanaticism taken to its extreme. Now that our shared ideals — like democracy and individual rights — were under such bold attack, perhaps Americans would come to value and appreciate our freedoms more deeply.

i too am protesting PP! they take advantage of young girls and exploit them.
i was a girl scout growing up and i could not wait until my oldest daughter could join. we went to the first meeting a few weeks ago and we both loved it. new memories for her and it brought back old ones for me! that night i was messing aroud on the internet and found the link between PP and GS. needless to say we did not go back to another meeting. i will not allow my baby to go out and sell cookies so that other babies can die!

it was very heartbreaking to tell her she couldn’t go back though. her dad promised her golf lessons in return. that made it easier for her!
One can really not predict what is going to happen. But any how each one is sure that a sudden bang is going to be there in positive direction.

Isn’t it interesting that they only offer free terminations when there’s some huge publicized tragedy that they can leech off of? Why not offer abortions free all the time — isn’t every pregnancy, in their estimation, a terrible tragedy?

Interesting. Boy Scouts are losing members too (and use of public facilities) due to their position on gays and aethists. Their call of course because they are “private”, but it costs them.

Factoid – at one time, a Scoutmaster or leader was getting dismissed every two days, in the US, for improper relations with kids.
