Lila on O’Reilly tonight; Charmaine on Hume
Planned Parenthood is having a bad PR day.
Lila Rose will appear on The O’Reilly Factor tonight to discuss her undercover op of the Bloomington, IN PP this summer. Read about the sting here.
And Charmaine Yoest of Americans United for Life will appear on Brit Hume’s show tonight on Fox after 6p EST to pan IN PP’s Christmas gift certificate debacle. Charmaine was on MSNBC earlier this afternoon discussing same.
Mixing these two topics, Bryan Kemper of Stand True has crafted this fabuous Get Out of Jail Free card the IN PP may also want to offer. Click to enlarge…

Isn’t that great?!
Thinking today about those PP gift certificates, it occurred to me that everyone is immediately connecting PP to abortion, which shows the brand has been damaged. I don’t think people would have automatically thought “abortion” in conjunction with PP a couple of years ago.

Great card!
That is some really encouraging news, Jill!
Jill, you’re right. As recently as 4 years ago I equated Planned Parenthood with “women’s health care”
Ha! Those illusions were quickly dashed when I called them seeking prenatal care and was told “Sorry, we don’t offer prenatal care…just abortions. Would you like an abortion?”
Lauren,
Aaaack! That’s unbelievable – I mean PP fails to surprise me much anymore – but that’s really awful!
In my house, we call someone who would say something like that an… idiot. It helps to un-cramp your brain after trying to process such rediculousness.
Lauren, I remember you telling me that and that is just really unbelievable.
Well, it would be unbelievable if it wasn’t planned parenthood.
Imagine going to a medical clinic and told them you were seeking pediatric care, and the receptionist says, “No, we don’t have pediatricians here, but we do have some physicians here who can kill your toddler. Would you like us to do that instead?”
Amazing.
It isn’t about health and they don’t CARE about women.
The cockroaches scurry when we shine a little light on them.
Bethany, I know!
I was honestly a bit flabergasted. Especially since she asked me several times if I wanted an abortion. It was like she could not compute that someone might be calling who actually wanted to have their baby. I guess it just goes to show that even if society in general thought(thinks?) of them as more than an abortuary, they only think of themselves as such.
great card!!
I’m helping Planned Parenthood with a new ad campaign ;)
Lauren, have you ever read Carol Everett’s “The Scarlet Lady”? It’s quite an interesting testimony written by someone who has herself been a big time salesperson for abortion and then turned around and become a pro-life advocate. I have a signed copy at the CPC and read it there. It’s really kind of shocking (and sickening) when you read about all of the stuff that goes into selling abortion to women.
Cranky Catholic, you really do a good job on those signs. It’s so sad that your poster reflects reality!
Lauren, thank you for telling about your experience with PP. That is why their name should be “Banned Parenthood” or “Planned Barrenhood”. Keep praying prolifers for God to continue to expose them for who they really are. This is a spiritual battle for the lives of innocent, unborn babies and for the hearts, minds and souls of our young people. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Planned Parenthood hurts girls and women by protecting sexual predators and promoting dangerous promiscous, sexual behavior especially by teens. PP lies to you by sneaking their way into cities and communities, pretending they come to provide “healthcare” to poor women when they actually come to sell death and immorality by raking in millions of dollars in profit by peddaling pills, shots, patches, condoms, IUDs, etc., teaching teens that there are NO consequences to living a promiscuous lifestyle (teenwire.com), then when the so-called “birth control” fails you can always come back and get your abortion for a few hundred bucks a pop. They can make sure you leave their abortuary without a live baby (which is what Lauren’s phone call was about), but they don’t know what to do with a live baby, only the dead ones that are put into their medical waste containers.
I personally like the name Planned Barenhood, Prolifer L, for many of the reasons you listed. I also like the following:
28But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
29For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.
Luke 23:28-29
Bethany,I haven’t read it, but now I want to. Thanks for the recommendation!
The world goes on, very much as before.
Yes it does Doug, except we are all one day smarter Doug, and that means more of realize that the name Planned Parenthood means promoting minors to deceive parents and promotes drugs and abortion to them. Shout it from the mountain tops.
TS, you’re misstating what really goes on.
You’re tilting at windmills, so to speak.
There are plenty of “actual” deals for you to proceed against as a Pro-Lifer, and you have but to go that way.
As it is now, you’re not gonna do much with much of your current stuff….
I don’t think so Doug. I personally know of hundreds of more people who only become aware of Planned Parenthood’s deceptiveness as they make efforts to sway minors to PP business without parental consent and obfuscation of the truth when they move into towns like Aurora Illinois to build abortuaries in residential areas next to a Dominicks grocery etc. The numbers of people who ar aware of the REAL PP agenda is growing every day wether you personally see it or not. Time is on the side of truth and time is an effective teacher.
You know Doug, if TS really was “tilting at windmills”, I don’t believe you or the other proaborts would bother to come to Jill’s blog and spread your venom. You’d just sit back and laugh at our efforts, but you don’t, do you? You (collectively) come here and make all kinds of nasty personal attacks and express your twisted personal opinions about how you are “winning the war”. Me thinks thou doth protest too much.
Doug,
“Just then they came in sight of thirty or forty windmills that rise from that plain. And no sooner did Don Quixote see them that he said to his squire, “Fortune is guiding our affairs better than we ourselves could have wished. Do you see over yonder, friend Sancho, thirty or forty hulking giants? I intend to do battle with them and slay them. With their spoils we shall begin to be rich for this is a righteous war and the removal of so foul a brood from off the face of the earth is a service God will bless.”
Don Quixote de la Mancha
TS, we just disagree then. If you feel you are doing good for your cause and having demonstrable, positive effects, then fine by me.
Doyle: You know Doug, if TS really was “tilting at windmills”, I don’t believe you or the other proaborts would bother to come to Jill’s blog and spread your venom.
Oh come on, Doyle, what “venom” do you really see?
all kinds of nasty personal attacks
I think you’re silly if you see more of that from Pro-Choicers rather than from Pro-Lifers, here.
Janet, great quote (and very applicable, IMO).
Thank you Doug.
TS, we just disagree then. If you feel you are doing good for your cause and having demonstrable, positive effects, then fine by me.
Doug, I do feel good about witnessing to the evils of abortion is having positive effects. Society would spiral into destruction if people didn’t grow in knowledge and truth. Oh yeah, and I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the healing and saving power of prayer. Unfortunately I can’t demonstarte that as easily as I can speak to fact that communities are growing in their understanding of the depravity of women killing their unborn children. It is such an intrinsically evil act and goes against all that is good and loving.
TS, if there is “intrinsic evil” I see it as attempting to use legal force against pregnant women.
