New Stanek WND column, “Obama: Not pro-infanticide? Prove it!”

With increasing volume I’ve been trying to make the pro-life community understand that aborting babies alive and letting them die or outright killing them is a commonplace – rampant – occurrence in U.S. hospitals and abortion mills despite the 2002 passage of the federal Born Alive Infants Protection Act.
That we get this fact is imperative with the election of Barack Obama as president alongside a Congress now fully controlled by the abortion industry.
Obama is key. As most know, he took tremendous heat during his 2008 campaign for adamantly opposing Born Alive as IL state senator and was forced to protest loudly that, of course, he opposed infanticide of abortion survivors. Rest assured pro-abort congressional members were watching, glad it wasn’t them on the hot seat. The pro-life community must now make Obama and a Senate and House that both voted overwhelmingly for Born Alive prove it.
How do we know post-abortion infanticide is widespread? The procedure resulting in live births – induced labor abortion – is now the late-term abortion procedure of choice. Read that last sentence again….

So glad you’re back Mrs. Stanek!
That is absolutely chilling. How do the medical staff sleep at night? To say nothing of the mothers who have this done.
There is no other word for it than infanticide.
After reading your article I did a “quick” search for induced abortions at the Virginia Beach hospital where my three children were born (they’re still living…14, 12 & 9…praise God!).
During my research, I found an interesting article about the infant mortality rate in Virginia, and I think this ties into the lies perpetuated by March of Dimes.
In other words, I suspect Virginia’s infant mortality rate of 7.7 per 1,000 live births INCLUDES babies left to die as a result of induced abortions (what the report simply calls “induced labor!”)…in and outside hospitals.
March of Dimes has always been “mum” on the link between abortion and premature births. I have reason to believe they’re also culprits in the cover up of baby deaths (resulting from induced abortion) in Virginia and across the nation.
The arrogance of the medical community, our state health commissioner, the March of Dimes, et.al. is sickening! Perhaps I will write a letter to the state commissioner asking her for details, asking for answers, and believing God will convict her to at least consider the probability and degree of such deceit!
Many thanks for your hard work!
Of course BO is pro-infanticide. It will be part of his nationalized health care plan just as “assisted suicide” is part of Oregon’s health plan for treating cancer.
Under BO’s healthcare plan, screening for genetic defects will be mandatory. When genetic defects are found mother will be given a choice. Abortion or no health coverage for her, the child or any other member of her family. After all, it will be the “patriotic duty” to reduce the burden on tax payers. It is the logical extension of the rationalization for helmet laws, seatbelt laws, smoking bans…..
He will follow Oregon on the back end as well. The only “treatment” option that will be covered for cancer is assisted suicide unless one meets a minimum level of “economic contribution.” People like the 66 year old woman in Oregon whom the state told to go home and die will receive the same “treatment.”
BO claimed that he voted against the state bill because it was a “slippery slope” to outlawing all abortion. In actuality, his action was the slippery slope toward mandatory abortion.
The opponents of Oregon’s assisted suicide law said it would lead to “suicide as treatment.” They were laughed at. But no one is laughing now. And all references to the story of the 66 year old woman have vanished from the web.
I am not a conspiracy monger. I notice patterns and can easily see the logic extension. I do hope I am wrong. But I doubt it since so much is already happening here and even worse abroad in more “liberal” countries.
“BO claimed that he voted against the state bill because it was a “slippery slope” to outlawing all abortion. In actuality, his action was the slippery slope toward mandatory abortion.”
Mark you could be right, and as the US goes, so goes the world.
Here is a link to one story about the Oregon case that Assisted suicide promoters said would never happen.
Her name is Barbara Wagner from Oregon. Any search on her including the words “cancer” and assisted suicide” will find the stories.
You know I really don’t think Obama has to prove anything. The IL law was a stupid attempt at outlawing a lawful medical procedure by making an end-run around it. It seems that the pro-life should own up to their duplicity in this regard. If they want to have 20 kids ( a la the Duggers) thats their thing but don’t go in loco parentis on other fetuses not of your body.
Yo La Tengo, yup, you caught us! We weren’t REALLY interested in providing medical care to infants born alive in the course of the “lawful medical procedure” you defend [for some reason, even Nazis & other authors of genocide have felt a need to ‘make legal’ the execution of their fellow man before commiting atrocious acts. Legality does not make something right]. Just like legislation informing mothers about fetal pain, anything that calls attention to the horrors of killing unborn children is something I approve of. There is no duplicity here, the pro-life message is that ALL human life is sacred, from conception to natural death.
Washington state just okayed/voted for killing of people who are terminal with the okay of 2 doctors. My progressive daughter voted for it – she’s 29. Funny thing that! I think I’m moving out of this state. :( Where is a good pro-life state where they actually treat you for a disease – I have Hep. C – I’m terminal already – well not so much – but I’m sure that will kill me eventually … Idaho’s looking good!
