Obama sends email plea for manufactured support of Obamacare

Only yesterday White House press secretary Robert Gibbs dismissed anger seen by Democrats at townhall meetings as “manufactured” by conservative groups:

Here’s a taste of that “manufactured” anger, from an August 2 townhall meeting sponsored by PA Democrat Sen. Arlen Specter and HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius:

Now, today, Obama himself, from his campaign email address (and this blending of Obama’s campaign and public office has always bothered me… fine print on this email says “Paid for by Organizing for America, a project of the Democratic National Committee”) is manufacturing support for his healthcare plan (click to enlarge):

  1. Oh wow…president abortion is now grasping at straws for people to support his abortion-funding-“healthcare”…
Well..you can fool some people some of the time…
Let’s keep up the pressure folks!!!

  2. Presidency Obama says: “This is the moment our movement was built for…”
These sound like the words of a radical, not a President.
    * * *
I haven’t received my copy of this letter from the President yet.
Do I have a say about what happens with health care or is this a partisan issue?

  3. Remember the Clintons crying “right-wing-conspiracy!” whenever they were criticized?
    Same old, same old.

  4. People are upset about this. Rightfully so. I think its cowardly for the left to say this anger is manufactured!
And remember how the Blue dog’s said that the abortion funding part of this bill was gone? Just read an article about that. Apparently pro-abortion forces led by Speaker Pelosi and Chairman Waxman (D-Hollywood) wanted a second vote on the amendment and another attempt to include abortion coverage in the health care bill currently being debated in Congress. To allow a second vote, they needed permission from the Blue Dog Committee members. They gave permission … and now thats back on the table. Absolutely ridiculous!
Don’t believe me? Its right here in front of our noses. http://www.lanewslink.com/archives.php?id=12601

What I remember, Janet, were the Republicans crying
“UnAmerican! Liberal conspiracy!” whenever Bush or the Republicans were criticized…oh how selective our memories are….

I never heard that once. Never. Do you remember what it was in regards to?
Are you saying you don’t remember the “right-wing conspiracy” claims (mostly from Hillary)?

  7. Waitwaitwaitwaitwait…let me get this straight…
Sooooo…Big Brother first attacks the town hall protesters as being “planted” and “staged” (when they weren’t), then proceeds to direct The Faithful to rat out any “fishy” dissenters on the internet, THEN proceeds to talk about how successfully they planted and staged supporters at town hall meetings during the election campaign, and how they need to continue doing so to pass healthcare reforms?
Ach, mein Gott! Big Brother Barack Obama (BBBO) really is the height of hypocrisy! :D

  8. Have you seen this? I’m not making this up.
“Washington, D.C.: Eight-Foot Tall Interactive Character Shows What It Will Take to Fix Our Health Care”
“….Health Care Harry, an eight-foot tall interactive character based on the Operation game’s “Cavity Sam” stood on Capitol Hill as health care advocates called for reform. Harry was subject to a number of serious “operations” as locals used giant tweezers to discover what was ailing him – and our whole health care system….”

    It is condescending compassion!

You have GOT to be kidding me. Boy, you sure can make up the stories.
I totally agree with Janet. Not once did Bush or anyone else say anything about a “liberal conspiracy.” Liberal stupidity, now that’s something else.

  11. This is absolutely shameful how the administration are saying these people who are against Obamacare are “manufactured” and it’s staged.
There is BIG opposition to this. Cash for clunkers ran out of money in less than a week…. now these morons want to run health care?

  12. in other videos you can see Kathleen Sebelius rolling her eyes at taxpayers…..ugh…she rubs me the wrong way! But then again, what do you expect from someone who counted late term abortionist George Tiller as a dear friend?

  13. Kat,
Can you tell us when the Bush Adminstration requested that e-mails from those opposing his policies be sent to the White House? When did Bush call up his Brownshirts against Americans who opposed his policies?
