Spotlighting important information gleaned from other pro-life blogs…
Hermanstorfer’s wife, Tracy, went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing during labor on Thursday… at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, where the Hermanstorfers had gone for the birth of their son.
“She had no signs of life. No heartbeat, no blood pressure, she wasn’t breathing,” said [Dr. Stephanie] Martin, who had rushed to Hermanstorfer’s room to help. “The baby was, it was basically limp, with a very slow heart rate.”
After their miraculous recovery, both mother and the baby, named Coltyn, appear healthy with no signs of problems, Martin said. She said she cannot explain the mother’s cardiac arrest or the recovery. “We did a thorough evaluation and can’t find anything that explains why this happened,” she said.
Mike Hermanstorfer credits “the hand of God.”
“We are both believers … but this right here, even a nonbeliever — you explain to me how this happened. There is no other explanation,” he said.
Isn’t it interesting that the anti human exceptionalists always seem to look for ways in which animals, robots-and whatever other category they wish to elevate in moral value to human equivalence-mimic distinctly human capacities and activity-proving, if nothing else, that humans are the lodestar for moral worth.

Wow, those Margaret Sanger quotes are astounding!!!
I just posted about Margaret Sanger on a previous thread and now to see what a great job Gerard did documenting her quotes. Priceless!! Thanks Gerard. Thanks Jill for linking us to this.
The sayings of Margaret Sanger are an abomination to any intelligent human being. It is obvious she had no compassion for those less fortunate or those she deemed unfit for life. I shudder to think what her ultimate encounter with a holy God was like.
If I were a Liberal, her association with Planned Parenthood and its roots would be reason enough to become a conservative.
That is really inspiring.
Thanks Kelli and Jill for linking to the post on Sanger. I’ve added a few more, and will continue to pound her movement mercilessly for some time to come. She is one of the chief architects of the Culture of Death, and as such needs too be fully exposed and torn down if we are to restore a Civilization of Love.
Now, onto other matters. That story of the Christmas miracles is the perfect way to close out a year that has been characterized by hopeful signs and sheer terror for the Pro-Life Movement. What joy!
Have a Happy New Year celebration all! See ya next year!
Margaret Sanger was a certifiable ghoul. She tends to be presented as someone who just wanted to help poor women – someone who didn’t want nice Mrs. Johnson to have to give birth to a twentieth child when the first nineteen were starving. Didn’t want feeble-minded, inferior Mrs. Johnson to produce any more feeble-minded, inferior children to pollute the planet, is more like it. It’s incredible that some people still think it’s okay to defend her. She willingly gave a speech to the Ku Klux Klan, for God’s sake.
Great article, Gerard, and I think some of your responses to critiques of your article are worth including in it. Also I commented over at your blog and my comment is awaiting approval. And apparently Asitis is still silently trolling here and has followed the link to Gerard’s blog. On another note, I also found the article on the miracle Christmas Eve birth (through Yahoo! News) yesterday and also feature it on my blog. The miracle and birth could definately be celebrated as life-giving to mother and child.
Mods, I have a post pending approval, thanks! And Happy New Years, everyone!
