Cool, Chris. I’m surprised MK didn’t make the list…
And Hal, you better watch out… I’m right behind you!

Awww..I didn’t even make the list? :( I can’t even remember when I “joined” this site, but I guess I haven’t commented as much as I thought..not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing ;)

I just had a good idea: everytime I see a pro-abortion comment, I’m going to tick off a mark. Each comment = 1. At the end of 2011, I will donate 1 dollar for every pro-abortion comment to my two local CPC’s. That means if Hal makes 26 pro-abortion comments, I will donate $26, to be divided equally between the 2 CPC’s closest to where I live. Everytime I see a shrill pro-abortion commenter mispell “babies,” I will donate $10 more to Lila Rose’s LiveAction.
So, abortion advocates, if you want the CPC’s to benenfit, keep chattering. If you don’t want me to spend as much, collect your thoughts before commenting three times in a row. It’s on!!

Bobby – check it out – revised my search a little bit more…
I’m generating these one by one. There’s no direct means of tabulating unique commenters right now using the DB tools without writing a bunch of query code. I could generate custom SQL but I’m thinking that would take some processing time.

Go, Ninek!!! :D

The only reason I’m not on there is because I took almost a year hiatus. Darnit. :(

Ninek, I don’t mind you sending money to CPC’s. I even donated once myself (thanks Carla)
I’m amazed I made the list. I’m sure I haven’t hit the top ten in the last 6 months.

Oh, Hal! I’ll chip in an extra dollar at the end of the year just for good measure, lol!
Of course, I’m only going to count the comments I see personally. Unless I win the lottery. And it also goes without saying (I hope) that my allocating will be based on comments made to pro-life sites. Good Lord, I’d be broke in less than a day by Naral’s tweets!
If a person comments who is usually pro-abortion but their comment is benign and doesn’t defend or promote abortion, then no dollah for you.

And it’s been a wonderful six months Hal. Definitely the most sense you have made since I came to the blog. Maybe Hisman did get thru to you.

Dear Hal,
I think of that and it still chokes me up. You gave when I was running my first triathlon in honor of Aubrey.
You have endeared yourself to me!!
Happy New Year, Hal!

That is an AWESOME idea!!! I might as well follow your example, and donate to some pro-life charities (as CPC’s in UK aren’t 100% pro-life). Thanks for the idea!

I didn’t say I wasn’t glad he lurks. Maybe 2011 will be the year he admits to himself that his “choice” to kill his own child was an indefensible abomination. I would be glad to have his name added to the book of the warriors for life.

Vita,
Can you give me an example/name of a CPC in the UK that performs abortions?

I googled UK and CPC and searched three pages deep and didn’t even hit the words Crisis Pregnancy Center. I don’t think they use the term Crisis Pregnancy Center in the UK. Vita, if you can find a CPC in the UK then by all means please donate.

I remember that, Hal. I would guess there are more than a few of us whose opinion of you shifted that day. :) I know that I think on it every time I see a post with your name on it.

Hey, I’m no saint (but you guys know that already). It was a small donation, I only brought it up to make the point that I don’t have any problem with CPC’s. I guess the hard-line “pro choicers” and I see it differently. Carla opened my eyes a little to the reality that just as there are unwanted pregnancies, there are also unwanted abortions. The women I know who have had abortions were not in that situation (as far as I know). They were and are comfortable with the decision they made. Listening to Carla over the years, however, it seems irrefutable that there are many women who don’t want to abort, but for a variety of reasons, feel they have no “choice.” If CPC’s can empower those women, I’m all for it.
