- At Priests for Life, Janet Morana discusses the decision of CVS to stop selling tobacco products in their stores because they want to “help people on their path to better health.” Morana sees another opportunity for them to make a positive impact on health:
If CVS is serious about wanting to protect the health of its customers, I hope they took a good hard look at the women and girls whose health and fertility are jeopardized by continued sales of contraceptives and abortifacients.
- Reflections of a Paralytic features a radio segment in which he is interviewed about how biotechnology is commodifying women.
- Pro-Life Action League points out that while overall abortion numbers may be declining, that isn’t the case at Planned Parenthood, where numbers are increasing. According to PLAL, PP’s reports show that “Planned Parenthood performs about 40% of all abortions in the US and abortion income makes up over 50% of their clinic income every year.”
- Pro-Life in TN wonders who came up with such an audacious headline over at Politics USA, which reads, “Obama’s Culture of Life: The Abortion Rate Has Fallen 13% Under This President”. PL in TN remarks:
No mention of the pro-life movement and the number of pro-life laws passed at the state level across the country. Nah… it is all about Obama… the president who voted in IL state senate against the ban of killing infants who survived abortions.
- At Secular Pro-Life, Clinton Wilcox responds to abortion-supportive blogger Deanna Young, who “has written a couple of articles defending the right to refuse argument….”
- Wesley J. Smith reviews a case in which a pregnant Canadian woman has been declared brain dead, but her husband is maintaining life support until their preborn son reaches the gestational age of viability. Wonder why this one isn’t making as much news as the case of Marlise Munoz and baby Nicole.
- At thirtyone8, Andy Moore posts video of a 20-week abortion performed by Dr. Dennis Christensen, who reportedly “performed abortions up to 22 weeks at a Madison Planned Parenthood clinic until retiring in late 2008.”It renders you almost speechless to note Christensen’s casual nature of examining dismembered baby parts and remarking on how he helped the patient “facilitate her decision not to parent at this time.” The patients (filmed from the back) speak of their reasons for aborting, all of which are lifestyle- and not health-related. I am amazed that the doctor would allow such a video to be filmed.
(Abortions at this stage and later are what Texas Sen. Wendy Davis was standing for – in pink running shoes.)
WARNING: Partial nudity; extremely graphic and disturbing…

Complaining about contraception at CVS, I see.
Did you watch the clip of the torn fetus in that dish “merit.” Procedure completed at 20 weeks. You like. Please do tell….
I remember that video from awhile back. If I’m not mistaken, it was filmed for “Lake of Fire”.
You can tell that girl was NOT having fun going through that.
Christensen — that was tough to watch. Cringing and crying and sick, all at the same time.
Obama’s “Culture of Life” — wtf? Obama never encouraged one woman to choose life, ever. And the rate of unplanned pregnancy increased, just a bit, during the same time — so don’t praise contraception.
Pro-aborts: There is only one explanation for the decrease in abortion rate: More women are choosing life, in real numbers and as a percentage of unplanned pregnancies. Now go and figure out why. We’ll be there when you’re done.
I am amazed that the doctor would allow such a video to be filmed.
He loves being filmed! Unlike other mass murderers, he doesn’t have to hide the video since his form of blood lust is legal. Many in his country put him on a pedestal. But not for long. . .
He even says during the filming, “Good show.”
Where are these ladies now?
Praxedes, what mass murderer?
Del, and that’s their choices.
Thomas R., I haven’t but maybe after I buy some popcorn later, I’ll sit down and watch it.
Hmm, & I thought late term abortions are never done for elective reasons…
However I imagine elective late-term abortions are preformed more often than pro-choice activists would like to admit.
The depths of human depravity astound me.
The abortionist and then those who make jokes about the deaths of innocent humans. Seared consciences, every one.
Hey, Prax, didn’t you know? You can’t call someone a “mass murderer” if the killing of the humans is legal. It’s only wrong if the government says it’s wrong, because… well, we derive our beliefs of right and wrong from whatever the government says is acceptable. (And from people who agree with us.) Because governments who legalize certain types of killing and other human atrocities are never, ever wrong, nor have they ever been wrong in the past. So we sit down with our popcorn and watch actual death – not any of that cheesy, overacted movie violence, because that’s so last week – and think nothing of it.
It’s all the rage, don’t you know?
Funny thing is… most people, when they see videos like the one above, are actually nauseated and horrified, and would probably not be able to eat their popcorn anymore. Because most people aren’t narcissistic sociopaths.
Others… not so much. But those “others” have always been around to lend approval to death. And they are so obsessed with death that today they even have to troll pro-life websites in defense and promotion of how great “choice” is. Well, not ALL choice, because I mean, we don’t like the “choice” people make to be against certain kinds of choice, because that’s the wrong choice. Because the government said so. And the government KNOWS. Unless the government is against “choice”, in which case, that government has made the wrong choice and must be forced into making the right choice. For “choice.”
Get with it, Praxedes. Pssh.
Here is a detailed breakdown of the reasons women sought late-term abortions, cited in Perspectives of Sexual and Reproductive Health:
45% had trouble finding abortion provider
37% unsure of date of last menstrual period
68% had no pregnancy symptoms
58% Didn’t comfirm pregnancy until in second trimester
30% had difficulty deciding on abortion
31% had previous second trimester abortion
Did not cite a single case of fetal abnormality
“Second Trimester Abortion: Logistics and Lack of Symptoms are Factors” Perspectives of Sexual and Reproductive Health Volume 38 No 2, June 2006
As quoted at: http://clinicquotes.com/why-women-seek-late-term-abortions/
That clip is from Lake of Fire and I often wondered if that woman ever watched the documentary and what she thought when she saw her child. The agony that baby suffered being ripped apart…God have mercy.
because that’s so last week
And it’s so weak, too, Kel. The really, really tough guys and gals not only looooooove to kill children, they support the killing of children and loooooooooove to sit down and watch the videos of the killing of children over and over while eating their popcorn.
I choose to never be as tough as the trolls who choose to come here. They are in a Death League of their own.
Popcorn for a baby being killed and a woman being wounded. Wow.
Merit, what would have to happen on that screen in order for you to be the slightest bit disturbed with your position on open season of the unborn? Seriously, what would it take?
On a more pleasant note PLEASE SEE GIMME SHELTER. As you know it is the true story of Kathy DiFiore and her organization Several Sources, which helps women in crisis pregnancies. Many of them come from abusive backgrounds. I was pleased to see quite a few young ppl in the audience. Of course the media trashed it but what else is to be expected? Please support this film and spread the word!
“merit:” “Thomas R., I haven’t but maybe after I buy some popcorn later, I’ll sit down and watch it.”
So this pro-abort propaganda that they are not pro-abortion blown out of the water by “merit” - good news for us. Since “merit” made it publicly, I will post on Facebook and Twitter for all to see what pro-aborts truly stand for.
That is sick :(
The pro-abort camp is distancing itself from “merit” as we speak, wanna bet on that….
Courtnay, you are much too kind toward “merit.” She made it known several times (this comment included) that she represents radical feminism only interested in abortion and not “the choice.” She wanted to paint pro-life as militant and outside of mainstream not too long ago but has done herself in instead. I suppose we should rejoice “merit” exposed herself on a website that will use it to portray pro-aborts for whom they truly represent.
I can’t wait for any other pro-abort to chime in on her comment. One, two……
