Inside an abortion clinic in India
by Carder
It may be hard for a Westerner to understand why she was willing to be photographed at such intimate moments, in a country where people say nasty things about women who have abortions.
Her doctor, Simi Mahesh, explains that there is a bond between doctor and patient: “They do trust me, and that could be a reason.” That trust would extend to the photographer who is working with the doctor.
Also, Palo Khoya spends her life in a remote village, coping with day-to-day challenges.
The Internet is just not relevant.

Thanks for the link D.
Even as we celebrate a new year with hope and optimism, our hearts are tempered by the sheer magnitude of evil in the world. There is so much work to do, and at the top of the list is protecting the most innocent and vulnerable among us.
How deceitful is the heart of man to use words like, “intimate moments” and “bond” and “trust” to characterize something so evil as an abortion? It’s made to sound loving and caring and supportive when in reality Mom, you just got conned by the devil into killing your own child. And “doctor”? Please…you’re a genocidal butcher that kills innocent children and wounds mothers, emotionally and many times physically.
Get real.
Wake up church and get in the fight. Don’t just sit there in your pew. Do something about it!
happy new year

According to the NPR article: Abortion is legal in India, but people say nasty things about it. That means that the culture still affirms life, even though the laws are unjust.
In America, abortion is legal and our culture affirms death. America is less just than India.

“The internet is just not relevant” sounds to me like code for her being relatively ignorant of what it meant to have her photo shared across the world. The internet is trouble enough for those who think they grasp it’s reaches. That they would post such intimate photos online, based on a professed “bond” between those in the room, is pretty inexcusable. Show her the internet and then ask if she wants her photo shared there.
