Baltimore Sun publishes Cecile Richards’ piece 2x but nixes Doug Johnson’s rebuttal
UPDATE, 2:37p: From Doug Johnson:
One minor correction: The Sun ran essentially the same piece twice, but they were not quite identical. The second iteration was a hair softer on Kathleen Parker. I don’t know if this was a deliberate down-toning by PPFA, or, more likely, just some editor making it a little shorter.
_______________
On September 10, and again on September 13, the Baltimore Sun published the identical op ed by Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards.
It was the same ole, same ole – none of the current healthcare bills force public or private insurance coverage of abortion.
This is false, but stepping back I’ve wondered before why Cecile – the president of the United States’ largest abortion provider – is apparently cutting off her nose to spite her face. Why is Cecile helping promulgate this untruth? Why instead isn’t she throwing a temper tantrum in the Oval Office, screaming, “And why the h-e-double-bamboo-shoots isn’t abortion covered?!” There are 3 reasons…
1. She is lying. (Yes, “You Lie!,” Cecile.)
2. She is willing to forego abortion coverage for everything else coverage.
3. She is aware of subterfugic language that will allow abortion coverage to later be added.
But I digress. Douglas Johnson of the National Right to Life Committee has submitted a rebuttal to Cecile’s twin columns to the Baltimore Sun. Surprise, BS hasn’t printed it. But WinonaDailyNews.com did today.
So truth has Winona, MN, going for it at least.
As an aside, kudos to Doug for his prolific rebuttals to bogus pro-abort claims like Cecile’s . Doug has posted everywhere on this – mainstream press, blogs, websites – everywhere. He has been a Supertypingman on the liberal cover-up of abortion in healthcare.

Media bias? Nooooooooooooo! You can’t be serious!
Just because we have a reporter say he gets tingles up his leg, or did he say he tinkles on his leg, when The One speaks would certainly never suggest bias.
Simply because The One is shown on various magazine covers with what look like halos, why that would never suggest bias.
Oh yes and Tom Brokaw and his “awe-struck” airborne rats, uh seagulls.
Far be it from me to suggest our media is anything other than a bastion of objectivity and accurate news reporting.
Jill,
“You lie”! Cecile.
Jill its obvious you meant to say “You lie”! girl, just as the enlightened media has informed us the “racist” Joe Wilson really meant to say “you lie boy”!
Jill I know exactly what you meant to say and you are a sexist!!
It is in the bill. It is under women’s healthcare. Yes she would go ballistic if Republicans tested her by reason of an explicit ammendment saying it would not cover abortions.

Well now liberal humanist democrats have set some speech rules for describing the potus when he is addressing a joint session of congress.
Liar is verboten, and one would assume any derivative of the word.
But, not to fret, there are many other synonyms that will fill the bill quite nicely:
democ-RAT
humanist
liberal
progressive
betrayor
deceiver
deceitful
deceptive
dis-sembler
duplicitous
forked tongue
illusionist
manipulator
prevaricator
propagandist
truth challenged
two faced
‘pants a smokin if not a blazen’ all the time, climb a telphone poll and shout calculated ambiguities rather than stand on the ground and speak the ‘TRUTH’.
Get this fellow some Nomex (has nothing to do with Mexico or Mexicans [google it]) underwear with built in Halon system.

Thanks Jill for the link to WinonaDailyNews. In Barry’s Address to Congress speech he stated, “under our plan no federal dollars will be used to fund abortions..” The truth must be revealed! Thanks to everyone who is bringing the truth out into the open.
Another article about the abortion in health coverage myth. funds inroduced into the system find their way to abortionists and low and behold tax payer funded abortion. hers a thought- whenever someone objects to a tax dollar provided service, they’ll play ‘six degrees of tax dollar service seperation’. why not worry about federal aid that goes to college students who are pre med and might perform abortions later on? or tax dollars that go into the development of mineing metals/ working with them because they might be developed in to abortion tools? of course tax payer funded abortion sounds scary but in reality it is an overanalysis of probabilities and use of inferred arguments to create fear and discontent among the American people.
And when will the press ask the difficult questions about pro-choice violence and racism among abortion providers? Had this been an interview with Troy Newman- they would have loaded it with stories of supposed pro-life violence. But after the murder of a pro-lifer, the media has a pro-abortion leader and they don’t even raise the question – And the ACORN/Planned Parenthood scandal should have been raised – both covering for child sexual abusers. Not to mention Planned Parenthood and RACISM. Seems the word: Racist has been bantered around quite a bit lately- not by the media despite the exposure of O’Keef and Lila Rose and Life Dynamics that there are Racists among them. Proof? rebuttals are not always printed, this does not allude to a cover up, as it is sincerely doubtful that such ire would be raised if the topic were transit bus scheduling and an opposing opinion were not posted.
