Siri now overcompensating on abortion
Earlier this week I reported the “scandal” of Apple’s Siri not referring for abortions was actually due to the fact abortion clinics don’t call or categorize themselves as abortion clinics. As Gizmodo.com explained:
Apple… [is] getting banged on because its nascent search engine can’t connect the word “abortion” to a medical center that doesn’t use that word in its description. That’s Search 101, fellas.
Now, according to HappyPlace.com, Siri has begun to overcompensate.

I’m gonna call ‘shopped on these screenshots. Not that they aren’t hilarious, but they’re a little too funny to be believable. “Speaking of buns, if you have one in the oven, I know a guy who can take care of it. He’s unlicensed but very clean.” Even if Siri did pull up results for an unlicensed abortionist, somehow I don’t see Apple programming Siri in such a way as to let that be the recommended result.
Also, one of the tags on the article is “parody.”
LOL. Lot of egg on the faces of the child murderers at “Abortioneers”.
Alice, I think everyone here knows it’s a joke. It’s just funny because it’s the pro-aborts’ own propensity for using euphemisms to cover up child murder that created this fake outrage. If only Siri really were pro-life: she could help women find REAL help.

Also the reason this happened had nothing to do with how women health clinics title their clinics or describe them. This is about filtered out search results.

These are funny though. DH and I joked that if Siri really did that more people would become Anti-abortion because they would be so sick of hearing about it from Siri! “Abortion? Is that that Siri thing? Heck no am I doing that! That’s annoying!” lol. :))
