- At Priests for Life, Janet Morana discusses the case of Ariel Knights, who sought (and thought she had) an abortion after she was told her pregnancy was a risk to her life due to uterus didelphys, and her baby survived. Most revealing is that this article on the case minces no words regarding the substandard conditions of the abortion facility and stark facts of the procedure:
When her name was called that March morning a year ago, she walked into a cramped room and climbed onto a table, positioning her lower body above a trash bag. When the doctor finished, Knights, still woozy from being sedated, was handed her things and shown the door.
- ProWomanProLife has been following the “Vagina Warriors” and their efforts to shut down (or shout down, as the case may be) any sort of intelligent discussion on abortion. Canadian MP Stephen Woodworth, a conservative who made a motion to study a legal definition of when life begins, was invited to speak at the University of Waterloo in Ontario, but was instead confronted with the “warriors'” pro-choice theatrics (pictured left).
- Wesley J. Smith says the state of Washington is attempting to pass a law that would require employers to pay for elective abortions through their insurance policies – yet another assault on business owners’ conscience and religious rights that could drive businesses out of the state. How far is the abortion industry willing to go to get taxpayer-funded abortions?
- Real Choice continues to chronicle women’s deaths from both illegal and legal abortion, showing that regardless of legality or time period, abortionist quacks abound.
- John Smeaton says Easter Sunday will also be the date of a temporary hold on an anti-life law in the Philippines.
- Bryan Kemper recently sent out a fundraising email that reached a pregnant, abortion-minded woman, who called Kemper to complain. During their conversation, he referred the woman to a counselor and she has chosen life for her preborn child. Wow!
- A Voice for Hope encourages you to take the time to listen to a panel discussion on pro-life and religious liberty from the recent CPAC conference:

“Vagina Warriors”
Shouldn’t they technicality be called vulva warriors?

Well, who expects intelligent discussion about anything from people walking around dressed like vaginas (or vulvas)? Not me.
“How far is the abortion industry willing to go to get taxpayer-funded abortions?”
Well, let’s see. The abortion industry lies to women, sets them against their families, and murders their unborn children. I’d say there’s no limit to how far they will go, and it seems clear the government isn’t going to limit them, at least not at the federal level, at least not any time in the forseeable future.
It’s good to hear the encouraging story of the woman who chose to have her child because of Bryan Kempers mailings. Of course according to the abortion industry, Kemper must have been harrassing her, and then he coerced her into not aborting her child. No, she wanted someone to talk to and someone to care about her and her baby, and not her money. That the abortion industry cannot provide. Their business is death, not life.

An abortion over a trash bag; well, at least that clinic didn’t spout any illusions about the procedure. This is legal abortion. Can you imagine my dentist pulling a tooth while his assistant held a garbage can up to my face? Really?

The article by Big Blue Wave was so ridiculous I could hardly type laughing so much…
“And was not his — sculpture? puppet? tent? — a feeble thing? Those who’ve scorched their retinas with actually viewing it, either in person or in the news, unanimously agree it was, both architecturally and structurally, unpersuasive. One lady I spoke too confessed she first believed it was a large peanut, and kept checking to see where the “top hat” was.”
“How did the vagina man — and his accomplice, a woman whose own contribution to the seminar consisted of shouting “c–t” repeatedly and angrily barking slogans at the speaker — come to believe that raucous behaviour, vulgar shouting, disruption and insult amount to either discussion or meaningful protest? Especially within a university. Their behaviour was anti-intellectual, anti-dialogue, anti-exchange and debate.”

Ariel Knights should also sue the doctor who diagnosed her condition for negligence. If her life was in danger, then her physician had an obligation to get her the immediate medical care she needed by either referring her to a specialist or putting her in the hospital under his/her care. Can you imagine your family doctor telling you that you have a life threatening condition, then sending you home with no referral for specialized care, in effect telling you you’re on your own as Ariel appears to have been?

Where is Joan? Where is CC?
We have street theater going on big time from unhinged nut jobs dressed as vulva!!
Which completely invalidates any of their squawking. :)

That’s Canada for you, everyone has “free speech” until you offend someone, then you get arrested and/or the police let people harass you (or do it themselves).
I SO WISH this had happened when I served…on a friday…(DC courts don’t “work” on Fridays after lunch so if you get locked up Friday you will most likely be there until Monday at about 2pm). We don’t do dancing VULVA in DC…well we didn’t USED to about 10 years ago LOL.
